This was a good buy. Very good quality for the price. The only complaint would be clean up, but this was a known issue before purchase.

It's an amazing slicing machine that cuts anything like butter!
From Muenster cheese to pepperoni and ham slices, the cuts are great!

I have been very pleased with this slicer. It's not the most powerful but it gets the job done. My favorite is slicing London Broil for sandwiches. Clean up is pretty easy. It also does a great job on cabbage, lettuce tomatoes. Because there is clean up involved I do all my slicing at the same time. Save a lot of money on cold cuts.

First off, i got this item on sale for $30. If you paid the full price, your rating would likely be lower. The major flaw for this machine is the guide not precise enough for consistent or thin cuts. There is too much play in it. I added a small plastic "knob" with sticky tape on the guide so that it holds the meat more consistently in one place. This allowed for more consistent, thinner cuts. Also, the cutting blade is serrated instead of a smooth blade which makes thinner, smooth cuts harder but for the price but isn't a deal killer. If you are getting this as an entry level slicer to use on leftovers, i think you'll be happy. If you've ever used a pro version of a slicer, it will drive you a little crazy but it's doable. My wife and daughter use it for making fresh potatoe chips with a thin bit of oil in a pan and holy .... are they delicious!

I bought the slicer in August of 2022. I have used it 6-8 times for slicing meat; 1 1/2" thick top round for jerky, smoked pork loin for sandwich meat, and so on. I got it out for corned beef this past St. Pat's Day - the blade was frozen, would not spin but I could hear the motor turning. I called B.B. about the Mfg. 2 year parts and labor warranty and I was told to make an appointment with the Geek Squad. I did that. When I got there, I was informed that no service was done there on this type of appliance; contact Bella. No thanks, for a $40 on sale slicer, I'm not going to mess with shipping back to China! I will disassemble it now, void the warranty, and see if I can repair it. I've repaired Hobart commercial products, they are worth it after years of use. This Bella is a fix or toss (scrap metal?). I can see why it is a clearence item now. Good move, BestBuy!

This is one of my most used purchases I've recently made. I use it to slice turkey for my pets who get that for a treat in addition to their regular food. I think for the price, it cant be beat. It's not commercial grade but neither was the price. It will be used for other things as well, I am sure.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Unsanitary and flimsy. Cleaning is such a pain. Motor started to smell like it was burning within 2 mins of using it. I returned it. I bought it when on sale for $30 but even If someone gave it to me for free I would get rid of it.

I don't need to slice meat very often, but, I wanted to be able to slice it really thin. This gives me the opportunity to do that for the price of a good kitchen knife.

Nicely built with a reason price, but the thickness control knob is so loose that if you push your food holder, it pushes the thickness control back and make you cut thicker and thicker you don't even notice.
