Good for slicing beef

I can roast beef and slice it thin for sandwiches and freeze it in vacuum packs - no more chemical-soaked deli meats for us! Easy set up, easy clean up.

Broken on the second time using it

The suction cups don’t hold, the thickness control won’t stay in place so soon as you put pressure on the cut the thickness knob moves back causing me to waste Alot of meat I needed thin for jerky. It is hard to clean and meat gets stuck between the bottom of the blade and the guard.

Slicer is perfect for a first time buyer

There are definitely reasons some slicers are 4-5x the price. I’ve sliced chicken, steak, and vegetables so far, and don’t have any real complaints. The motor is pretty loud and the gearing is all plastic, so I have no expectation that this will be a “forever” purchase.
