The machine would not complete the priming step, would not pump water. Called customer support and was doing everything correctly. The person said she would elevate my call to the next level and they would call back within a couple days. Has been over a week and no call. Returned the machine and got a Keurig

I was a little skeptical about this product, considering it is not the regular K-cup pods (it takes in regular nespresso size pods). This means, it is a little harder to buy this size coffee cups at retailers-- at least here in Los Angeles, regular food stores I went to did not have them. But guess what, there's a lot of options online and are much cheaper too! (Also, surprise, surprise, bestbuy.com has them too—I have been buying gadgets only on bestbuy so I did not know they had these pods too—makes it convenient!) Anyway, once I had the coffee pods, it was soooo easy. The form-factor of this machine is slim. It fits perfectly in the middle of my microwave and my toaster. I just put the pod in and I get good coffee. It also comes with a milk frother that puts body into that milk just fine. You just pull the pitcher out of the frother base and it is ready for pouring. And it is easy to clean. I have seen bigger coffeemakers that look fancier and are maybe way more expensive-- but hey, this machine can do the same thing and it fits well even if I do not have so much counter space. This one is worth it.

you get what you pay for. I thought that it would be equivalent to the nesspresso machine however it doesn't come close to the quality and ease of use. It's very flimsy and doesn't make consistent expresso from the capsule.

I love going to get a coffee (espresso) from time to time. I love the taste of a handmade beverage, and often times it is the experience that is so nice to go along with the taste of a great latte or whatever your favorite drink is. Being able to replicate that at home is not easy. The making of the actual espresso is not that hard, but get the milk right is something I lost patience with in the past. So I never bought another at home espresso machine again. That is until now. Before this, I have tried Nespresso samples at the mall I their shops, and I really liked it. But I had a device from their competition back then, and I moved on. I am a big drip coffee drinker, almost like a religion level of dedication to the bean juice. So I thought maybe trying this would be a cool idea to vary things up a little. I was right, and I love this machine. The machine is very small, has a slim line sort of profile (not wide) and an ample water tank. When you use it, you simple flip the switch on the side, drop a capsule in the top, close the lid and hit the optional size you want. The espresso comes out rich and airy. The pressure is perfect, and the temperature is also just right. The milk frother is literally what sets this machine aside from the rest. You add the milk, push the power button and it does the rest. The milk is brought to an ideal temperature, and the thick rich foam brings out the subtle natural sweetness of the milk. For me, I like to add a tiny bit of sugar to the milk as it is being heated, and you can also add your favorite sweetener or flavoring instead. One thing you don’t want to do is over fill the milk frother. If you do, it will come right out of the top of the cup. I imagine it depends on the milk you use, but I usually use whole milk and if you fill it even a small amount over the MAX line, it will be on your counter for sure. The machine is also easy to clean. There is a cup collection drawer that will hold about 10, and there is a drip tray. All are easy to clean. I don’t know if they are machine washable, but do it by hand anyway, because they small and easy to clean parts. Finally, take a look at all the options for nespresso capsules that are out there. There are a TON of options on Amazon, I saw them at Costco and there are numerous options both brand name and generic at the grocery store. Most importantly, it makes a darn good beverage. I am not an espresso snob. I am a coffee snob, but espresso not so much. But the better the ingredients, the better the drink. I have to say, I would rather have one of these made at home now rather than going to get one and coming home now. I might even make one time to time for my commute. All things said, I am really impressed. I am not a big at home espresso guy. I mentioned before drip coffee is my favorite. But this thing is a treat. I recommend it to anyone that loves espresso drinks. It gives you a lot of opportunity to make things your own way, and I think you will be very surprised at how good it turns out. Happily surprised. And for the price of the machine? It is a no brainer.

Works good, but capsules hard to find

This unit is small but seems very well made. It is heavy for it's size and takes up little room. The milk frother is a good addition, but there are no instructions on how to uset. However, it is pretty easy to figure out and don't fill it over half full of milk or it will overflow. I have found no places that physically sell the capsules and only a few companies sell them online. They are expensive compared to other options and expresso makes only small cups anyway. Mixing with milk from the frother does make an excellent cup of expresso. The unit holds up to 10 empty cups and maintenance looks to be very easy. If you like expresso, this unit will not disappoint.

This espresso maker works very well. It heats up quickly, you can customize your size, and is easy to clean up. The frother works very well too. I tried almond milk, coffee creamer, reg milk. They all worked well. I am however disappointed that this machine didn't come with any samples to try it out right out of the box. I had to run to the store to get the correct size capsules to fit this machine. One thing I noticed, at least at the stores I shopped at, is that there was a very limited selection for this type of capsule. Another I didn't like is that for the small amount of coffee you get from the machine, the footprint doesn't seem to justify it. Maybe it's just me, but I feel it could be smaller and work just as well.

If you are used to the K-Cup single use experience that is low maintenance and gets a your morning dose of caffeine done in a short amount of time, this is for you! If you are especially looking for a little more caffeine than a cup of coffee or want a barista experience at home, look no further! Everything comes well packaged and secured in the box with everything you need EXCEPT a sample. You will need to do some homework just to find the pods. I will save you some time here… USE NEPRESSO ORIGINAL pods and you will be in business. I recommend Bella do something with their box showing which pods are compatible. Even just putting a small piece of paper with the pod info will be helpful. Nespresso should create a simpler way to identify the pods… maybe a single letter or number system so the consumer can find them easily. With a little coaching and online research, I found it. No samples in the box to give you an idea of what you are looking for either. It is not clearly marked on the packaging which pods to buy or where to search for them. The machine looks beautiful and well built taking a minimalist approach from design down to the user experience. Little to no assembly is required for this machine out of the box. Just take the water reservoir, fill it, and place it in it's spot. Take a pod and set it, after the lights stop blinking click the size you want and you are done. If you are interested in the frother, you will get your milk ready during this time. I actually recommend doing the milk first during the preheat so you have everything ready! Here is a quick rundown of important things to know. This machine has 19 bars of pressure with a preheat time of 45 seconds. The frother gets your milk ready in as little as 90 seconds either hot or cold. The trash basin holds up to 10 cups before needing to be emptied. Use Nespresso Original Line System pods. Remove your drip cup if you want to fit larger more normal sized coffee mugs found in the US. In short, this is a good machine that gets the job done and will be in service for many years to come in my home!

This is the "okay-est" coffee maker I've ever owned. It's saving grace is that you can use (original) Nespresso capsules with it and whatever variety you choose, Nespresso pods make for a fantastic cup of coffee. The construction is not bad, but not quite what I was expecting from this machine. I can't understand what makes this machine worthy of a "pro" label. Other than the top lever that controls the capsule chamber the whole thing feels pretty standard. There are two options for brewing, a standard espresso shot size and a double shot. Both work as expected, though I wish the double shot size dispensed perhaps a little less water. When using it I felt that the coffee was a little too watered down for my taste. If you want a larger amount of coffee, you're better off sticking to the smaller size, biting the bullet, and using 2 capsules. The only thing that really irked me a bit about this brewer was the cup size that the platform below the dispensing nozzle will accommodate. The majority of my mugs are 10oz as I usually make myself multi-shot Americano style cups of coffee rather than disappointing drip or percolator. None of my mugs fit with the platform in, which is understandable since it is designed for demitasse cups. However if you remove the platform to try to accommodate larger cups, you'll find that the cup won't be supported all that well. What I ended up having to do was put a small cutting board in front of the machine so that the part of my mug that hung out past the edge of the machine was still supported without having to be held in place. If you are like me and want to use a cup/mug that will hold more than a single or double shot be prepared to find a workaround like I did. The frother is ok, but nothing to write home about. It's much bigger than the Aeroccino 3 frother that came bundled with my Vertuo Next Nespresso machine, yet somehow holds less milk than the Aeroccino 3. It's not huge deal, but rather odd and if your counter space is at a premium I could see this frother being stashed in a cupboard when not in use rather than left adjacent the brewer. All in all the experience comes down to the question "Will this machine brew me a good cup of espresso or coffee?". The answer is definitely yes, which is why I'm giving it a 3 star rating. Is it a "Pro" machine as the name suggests? I wouldn't say so, but I'll leave that up to the eye of the beholder. As capsule brewers go, it's pretty much......okay.
