    The first one I purchased worked one time and would not work again. The return process was very easy and courteous. The exact same replacement model has worked well for several weeks and seems to be a very good value.

    Transparency that I purchased this open box and on sale flr $30. For that price, the value far surpasses the price. Some things worth noting but bare in mind the price. The portafilter is a bit light weight and doesnt feel premium and can be difficult detatching from the machine. May be worth looking for a better substitufe online. Id also recommend getting a portafilter screen for the top of your ground coffee.

    This machine is great for beginners who want to try making basic espresso. However, the build quality is poor—the milk frothing wand has a strong plastic smell that never goes away, no matter how long you use or clean it. For health reasons, I don’t recommend using the frothing wand.
