If you're into Berserk, it has a ton of content, including story missions, characters, clips from the Berserk movies, etc. Gameplay is pretty standard. If you're not into Berserk, you might be better off with a different game.

The oddly-titled Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is a love letter to fans of Berserk as well as fans of the Musou/Dynasty Warriors series. With that being said, you know what you're getting here: a licensed re-paint of the typical Dynasty Warriors mechanic, but with the added bonus of the excellent Berserk license. Features cutscenes from the film trilogy, but of course, the story is a bit pared; I cannot recommend this to people who are not already intimately familiar with the entire story from the comics.

Never felt so powerful in a game before, chop chop!

This is a game where the source material fits well with the game mechanics the DW series is known for. I love the Berserk series. Never cared for Dynasty Warriors but I knew the type of game it was. That being said, I still found the game to be lacking. I don't know if it's the style or the substance. There is a lot of source material that could have been added from both series. If you like Berserk, it's easier to see past the flaws.

This game will probably only appeal to people who like the other KOEI / Omega Force games. I'm a Berserk fan and longtime KOEI hack and slash fan so I like this game. The game also has some nice cutscenes in it that follow the storyline nicely. The cutscenes can be a little edgy for younger gamers but it is way softened up compared to the actual series.

Lacks the depth of other games in the "Warriors" series, but if you're a fan of the Berserk franchise you won't be disappointed.

Even as a Warriors game, Berserk is verrrrry barebones but honestly the simple dumb fun of Guts swinging his sword into 1,000 enemies at a time carries the experience for me. I'd just say watch some videos and pay for whatever you think you've seen is worth, because that's about all there is to it

I like getting a Beserk game to play but this is more a Mosou type action hoardes of enemies type game. Though I like how they did the Dragon Quest Heroes game a bit more this is fun with the Beserk weapons and protaganists. Just a good mindless action game to pick up and play none the less.

This game is a video game representation of the Japanese anime/manga series. In regards to the game itself, the single player game is generic. Button mashing is repetitive, and the game loses one player's interest very quickly. This has the template to be a great "Dynasty Warriors" like game, however it falls flat in many aspects.

You will only like this game if you are a fan or like dynasty warrior type games.

If you enjoy the hack and slash type games like the Dynasty Warriors games , or if your a fan of the Berserk anime you should enjoy this game. It has a lot of clips form the anime movies and new series + a lot of playable characters to unlock and play as. =D

Just like many past dynasty warriors game, this one hits the spot. It is highly detail graphics and plays great just like previous dynasty warriors games. If you like the anime and dynasty warriors games then this one will great for you.

This is another skinning of the Dynasty Warriors (or Musou) games using the Berserk universe. There weren't really interesting mechanics added on, which was slightly disappointing. Only pick this up if you must play every Dynasty Warriors game or if you like the Berserk anime.

Fantastic graphics, must have gameplay for dynasty warriors veterans and who is interested in the Berserk anime series. It doe become repetitive and boring but the animation and gameplay makes up for it. Good replay value.

Been following Berserk for quite some time, due to people praising it for it's characters, story, and graphic / gory nature. The game from what I've played so far, is pretty faithful to the source material from the manga.

A solid Berserk title if you like Dynasty Warriors. Good use of officially licensed material to tell the story, featuring full cutscenes pulled from the Berserk films. Expect the usual caveats of a "Warriors" style game.

Actually impressed with the story but of course the gameplay is repetitive but it is decent the be able to play multiple characters for the same mission. Worth the cost with gamers club and Black Friday in July.

Great hack and slash action with waves of enemies. Although it gets repetitive, it feels somehow therapeutic dealing massive damages to hundreds of enemies at once. Plus the anime cut scenes are really awesome.

Probably deserves a 3, but I was surprised by it. Better than what I expected and I had low expectations. Fans of Musou it's a nice treat. Curious Non Musou fans it may be worth a gander.
