isnt good for high temp cooking, like pizza

we bought this range, very excited. What a big let down. After cooking for 2hours, the range shuts off. We make pizza every week and after 2 hours of the range being on, it doesnt hold temp. If we open the door too quickly, the pilot light shuts off. And it is always sooo hard to relight the range. It is very sensitive and the range loses heat very easily. It does not hold heat long enough to cook pizzas at 500degrees for a few hours.
