So I made the switch to 50ft and it works and connects properly. It automatically connects to my router once plugged in and the stableness of the connection is uncanny.

My router is located in my dining room, however I’m working inside one of my bedrooms. I love the fact it extends to 50’ so I’m able to move around with my desk when needed. Next time I plan on purchasing a flat cable if they sell it. That way I can pin it down along the wall or lay it flat under my rug.

I used it as a back up. In the past, I bought a similar ethernet cable from Best Buy & that cable works very well. I use that cable on a daily basis.

I struggled through three floors to the basement in an old house and it did not break or lose connectivity. There seem to be many options for cables with some different specifications on other sites. This one worked fine for a mesh network.

I have not had any issues with my connectivity thus far. I would spring for a higher-grade cable if you are planning to hardwire into your walls, but for gaming router/modem to system, then they work just fine.
