I got it to replace a 3' extension that was damaged by my chair. Now instead of going to through the front USB, it's long enough to reach the back ports and safely away from my chair. So I can easily use my thumb drives, external drives, and my 2.5' sata drive to USB.

Love it I use it everyday and it hasn't fail at all.

Despite it's cheap price, this is a good USB 3.0 extension cable. I got this mainly for adding extra length to my charging cable, and it works well. My devices charge much faster than using a USB 2.0 extension cable. The connector ends of this cable are also made of hard, solid plastic and seem more durable than the rubberized connector ends of the Insignia brand USB extension cables! (Several of the Insignia cables at my Best Buy had connector ends that were misshapen, with open gaps between the outer rubber layer and the inner metal components.) This cable is also cheaper than the Insignia version.

This 10 foot extension cable allowed optimal placement of my security camera. The outside plug is in the corner of the soffit and the 5 foot usb cable that came with the camera couldn't reach to the center of my double driveway where the camera is mounted. The cable works with no loss of signal and is weather proof for outside.

I was looking for something a lot more flimsy. I was planning on using this for my cell phone but it was so thick and sturdy, I used it for something else. Would I recommend this product? Absolutely. It’s great quality for the price!!! It just won’t work well if you’re trying to extend a phone charger cord or something you move around regularly!

This is a strong and durable cable. It is perfect for connecting USB 3.0 electronics such as hard drives and cell phones to USB ports that are far away. It also works with USB 2.0 ports and devices as well. Overall, I would recommend these cables to anyone who is looking for a strong and reliable USB 3.0 cable extension.

I purchased two of these USB extension cables. The cables have functioned as desired in conjunction with a headset and USB drive. The connections are sufficiently snug to hold to the other devices. The cable/housings have a reasonable diameter so it appears that they should be reliable (i.e., not thin, cheap, and likely to break). Time will tell. My only disappointment with this order was that I had ordered two cables. On line it was stated that there were two cables in the store, but it turned out there was only one. The second cable was delayed due to needing to get it from another warehouse, so I needed to make two trips to pick up the full order.

Cable thickness is great, and the connector on the female end is good as whatever I plug in it has a good connection and won't easily wiggle out. Along with that is the great price, as many other usb 3.0 options are overpriced.

I really like the long extension cable. 3.0 works as advertised. The ends are a bit long and thick, but that's okay.

This was a great find online after buying the more expensive version at my local Best Buy store. This 10 foot length was half the price of the 12 footer in the store even though they appear to be the same product except for 2 feet. Returned the 12 footer.
