A cheaper option for your phone that isnt an apple product

it doesn’t really charge unless you keep removing it and putting it on but once it actually charges, it works.

Gets the job done, but cheap cable quality. 6ft cable is nice though.

It charges, but it doesnt take long before my phone and the charger are really hot.

Awful. Charges so slowly. And if you are using phone while charging for simple text task it continues to drain. Will be returning!!

I was right on the edge of giving this a 5-star rating, but I just couldn’t bring myself to doing it. For such a low price, and the fact that it does exactly what it was designed to do – shouldn’t this be 5-stars? Yes, except one thing annoys me about it. I would have given this a 5-star rating if it had a rubberized bottom under it, or some small rubber pads to keep it from sliding all over the place. I have a Samsung S23 Ultra mobile phone (not an iPhone), it charged just fine. It’s only 10W, so it’s no speed demon. It also heated up a little, but that’s to be expected. It even charged through my leather folding case. I just can’t fathom why there isn’t a nonslip bottom on it. That combined with the fact that the cable material is not very forgiving. When I first placed it on my desk it flopped around like a fish (queue SpongeBob theme). I’ve solved the problem myself by applying some rubberized pads on the bottom. If this had a non-slip bottom it would get 5 stars. If it also had a more flexible cable, it would get bonus points. If you are looking for a very basic conductive charger for your compatible mobile phone, no bells and whistles – barebones that works – you cannot go wrong.

This cable does exactly what is promises, and does it well. The cable itself is more than long enough (maybe too long for some people), and it hold to the phone tightly. The spec of 7-1/2 W seems accurate. While this might not seem like a lot of power, it should be more than enough. The problem with wireless charging is that it is inefficient, and generates a lot of heat. This is not the fault of this cable, as all wireless charging suffers from this problem. If your phone is in a bumper case, then this helps hold heat in. So your phone, if well protected, will likely get warm enough to throttle the charging power below the 7-1/2 W rating, unless you have a fan on it. The cable is around two meters, and has a USB-C plug on the other end. It does not come with a power supply, but most people have those lying around anyways. Honestly, my only complaint with this charging cable is that it is white, so it will likely show dirt after some period of time (depends on how often you use it, and what kind of environment it is in). So, to summarize, if you need a magsafe charging cable and don't mind that it is white, then this will do a great job, and I can recommend it.
