Needed to disconnect from Charger to make it work
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It would stop working and only start working after disconnected and reconnected to charger. It wasn't issue with charger because used two different one. This products not as good as Apple. Maybe good as spare but not primary if you need reliability.

Great quality and good for traveling!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a magnetic wireless charger, I think this charger from BestBuy essentials charges faster than other brands I’ve tried. That said, I still find myself using USB C charging at home because it’s faster, but for me, this is a great traveling charger because my AirPods are not compatible with a USB-C charger, so I bring it with me to charge both my phone and my headphones when I am not home. Overall, the magnet is strong and simple to use. As far as pricing goes, this is probably one of the most affordable wireless magnetic chargers out there so for the price it’s really a 5 out of 5 in my opinion. The color is nice too, and probably on par with Apple magnetic charger. I would recommend this to a friend or it can even be a nice gift for this year's gift exchange. Also, if you're like me and have the older model of the AirPods Pro, you can just use this as your go-to charger and avoid having two charger plugged in. Keep in mind though as I said that charging is not a fast as a direct connection.

I'm putting one in every room!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Who knew I would be so over the moon about a magnetic wireless charger! The Best Buy essentials magnetic wireless charger is absolutely perfect. It is 2 1/4" in diameter so quite small. The cable is six feet long. While I haven't timed it, it charges my phone quickly. A small diameter means it's perfect for travel. The six foot cord means it will reach the table I work from so I can charge the phone while I'm using the phone for a conference call. A fast charge means the phone is always ready. The directions say "For best results use either without a case, with a thin case or with a case that is MagSafe-compatible". I have an iphone 16 with an Apple leather case. I don't know if that's a thin case or not. What I do know is my phone charges on the magnetic charger without taking it out of the case. Perfect. I like the Best Buy essentials magnetic charger so much, I bought another one. These are so small and convenient as well as very reasonably priced I think I'll put one in every room.

It works! How can you find fault at this price?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was right on the edge of giving this a 5-star rating, but I just couldn’t bring myself to doing it. For such a low price, and the fact that it does exactly what it was designed to do – shouldn’t this be 5-stars? Yes, except one thing annoys me about it. I would have given this a 5-star rating if it had a rubberized bottom under it, or some small rubber pads to keep it from sliding all over the place. I have a Samsung S23 Ultra mobile phone (not an iPhone), it charged just fine. It’s only 10W, so it’s no speed demon. It also heated up a little, but that’s to be expected. It even charged through my leather folding case. I just can’t fathom why there isn’t a nonslip bottom on it. That combined with the fact that the cable material is not very forgiving. When I first placed it on my desk it flopped around like a fish (queue SpongeBob theme). I’ve solved the problem myself by applying some rubberized pads on the bottom. If this had a non-slip bottom it would get 5 stars. If it also had a more flexible cable, it would get bonus points. If you are looking for a very basic conductive charger for your compatible mobile phone, no bells and whistles – barebones that works – you cannot go wrong.

It does the job well, nothing fancy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 10W Wireless Magnetic charger does the charging well as advertised. There is nothing fancy about it except that it seem to have better than average build material which I was not expecting from an item that is not from big brand names. Another nice feature is the longer that commonly seen cable, which is helpful when the power outlet is not close to the desk. It is USB C so it works with laptop and desktop just as well. It does not come with a power box so laptop or PC USB is needed. I have not tried it in my vehicle because I did find something to glue it or attach it to. It works well with both Apple and Android phones since I have both. It does not have a back surface that can prevent the charger with the phone to slide. The length of the cable can become a problem when the charger is close to the power source such a wall outlet or laptop. I works well with cases that have the magnetic ring on the back, not so well with thick cases that do not have the magnetic ring. Finally, it is nice an compact compared to other cheap magnetic wireless chargers.

This charger favors Apple devices over Android
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.10W Magnetic Wireless Charger for iPhone or Devices Compatible with MagSafe & Qi Charging This charger seems to favor Apple devices over Android I got this Qi Maglock charging device because I was looking for quick way charge my Android Pixel phone when I was in my workroom. I assume it’s the manufacturer who describes this Qi charger as being “Compatible with MagSafe & Qi Charging”. My wife has Apple devices, so I was able to see how it performed in both types of phones. The result with my Android phones was disappointing. When I first placed the phone on this charger it would sense the phone, then both the charger and the Android phone would indicate that charging had begun. Soon however, the charging would cycle on and off about once per second. I tried four different Android phones with and without their phone cases, and it performed the same way. On the other hand, when I placed my wife’s new and old iPhones on top of it, it immediately began charging and kept charging until the phone’s battery was full. I have other Maglock wireless chargers both branded with the phone manufacturer’s name and aftermarket chargers. They all charge my Android phones just fine. Your experience with devices may vary, but because of my experience, I would not recommend this charger unless you intend to use it with an iPhone. PROS: - Compact and light. - Works fine with Apple Devices. CONS: - In my experience it did not work with Android devices. - I know this second problem will work its way out in the future as it has in this past, but you should be aware that this Qi charger does not come with a 120V “Wall-wart to plug into an outlet. The cable it comes with is permanently wired into the maglock/Qi device with a USB type C male on the other end of the cable. This means you will probably have to buy a charger with a female USB type C outlet. You won’t be able to use this charger with the dozens of wall and cigarette power modules you probably have in your drawers and auto glove boxes. We’re going to go through the same agony and cost we did when manufacturers moved from USB type A, USB type B, etc. CONCLUSION: Think of it as an Apple device charger, and you will be fine.
