Tried using an old wireless HDMI solution with a splitter to do this, but I suspect it was conflicting with the 5GHz WiFi and hence would get staticky at times. Hard wiring this solved the problem and was a cleaner look overall.

I highly recommend this set! 12' Extension Range is excellent seemed to have good connections, and both tips mean no matter whether one is plugging in a 3/8" or 1/4"
