My issye is that although there is no break in any of the wiring, it now only allows listening in one ear. It seems that the wire near the plug where you plugin the the headphones, although there are no breaks, somehow acts like the wire is broken or damaged and does not allow any sound to come through. This happens with all these types of cables.

It did work, not great though. The small adapter doesn't transfer sound that great. It makes sort of a scratchy noise.
