There's a slight and better sound difference with the previous shorter cable I was using. The length and purple connectors are a plus. The thing that convinced me to buy this one aside from the length that I needed was the price, this cable is 2X plus other cables priced the same . I was tempted to buy a connector and two shorter 6' cables but this 15' was just what I needed and for the same price. Have been using it for a couple of weeks and works great.

It sends a signal to my subwoofer.

If you are in a pinch, this cable will work. I see no reason to replace it with something better, it is doing the intended job.
