These flashlights proved that wrong. Both units felt very light without the batteries inserted. One would assume that is a good thing. However, the devices felt like they would shatter if dropped, even after inserting the batteries. The silver one was DOA. The black one worked. The functioning flashlight felt like lower quality aluminum - the type used in soda cans, unlike the high grade used in aircraft. The rubber buttons on the tail end felt loose. The screw cap felt unaligned when trying to screw it on with the batteries. I was afraid it would cross thread and be ruined. Returned to the store and got refunded back to my credit card. Go with Olight, Nitecore, Thrunite, WowTac, etc. Don't buy this Insignia/Best Buy junk. Period.

These flashlights will turn on only when the batteries are positioned a certain way. Which way I can't tell you since its so inconsistent. Had to return since it shouldn't be this hard for a flashlight to turn on.

Okay but jiggle for lights
