As much as we’d like to switch entirely to USB-C, plenty of things still use USB-A (even new products) so these chargers, which provide both in a compact plug, are fantastic! At 20w max, they’ll charge a single device quickly (as long as it’s not a heavy-duty laptop with a big battery - which will charge fine, just over a longer period of time) or 2 devices at a slightly slower rate. For phones and tablets, it’s more than enough for great charging speeds. In practice, I find these to be an all-around great offering. They’re the right size to be portable, well made with a simple design, and most importantly - they don’t crowd or block outlets. Their efficient design stays both securely in the wall, and in our case, don’t block our outlet’s integrated night-lights. (Wonderful!) The cables are on the slightly thicker side, so I'd prefer them to home use rather than travel, but they seem very durable and will likely last a long time. At such a great price for 2 sets of chargers and cables, you can’t go wrong. Highly recommend! - Best Buy’s house brand products just keep getting better and better!

These plugs don't work at all. The USB plug won't go all the way in on either of them so they don't even make enough of a contact to charge. Probably a fire hazard also.

The items finally arrived and were ready for use, so I thought. I was in error and thought theses were for IPads and IPhones. Boy, was I mistaken. Returning this item tomorrow as It’s of no use to me. P.S. I cannot use them at all! Thanks

You can never have enough chargers…the BestBuy Essentials - 20W USB-C Dual-port Wall Charger Kit for cell phones, tablets and more is an affordable combo unit that works as well or better than the more expensive chargers from competing brands. It is also more compact than other brands with similar specifications. This is an exclusive BestBuy brand that provides quality products at much more reasonable prices. This set of 2 compact wall chargers with 5ft long USB-C to USB-C well built cables also provides enough juice to charge most iPads and other tablets. I even tried it with my chromebook, though it takes a bit longer to charge a larger battery. Testing it with the iPhone 15 Pro, it charged the big battery to 35% in about 25 minutes. It also FAST charges the big Samsung Galaxy S23/24 Ultra. Some lower-end chargers tend to overcharge thus overheating your phone and shortening the battery life, but BestBuy Essentials does not cut any corners and includes functional overload protection that throttles the charging as needed. They also stand behind their products and warranty it for a full year unlike other brands that only give you 90-day warranty.

This BB Essentials wall charger and cable kit is an absolutely insane value for a two pack of chargers and usb-c cables. The chargers and cables are also high quality and come with the backing of BestBuy. If you price out each item it’s maybe $5 for each wall charger and $2.50 for each cable which is nuts in this day and age. These chargers are especially useful because as many know, Apple no longer includes the wall chargers with their iPhones, they only include a USB-C to USB-C or lightning cable. Also with newer iPads, the wall chargers are USB-C to Lightning which are a type of cable on their way out as Apple switches to USB-C. This charger has USB-A also which allows you to use any of the old lightning cables you had from before. I plan to get another one of these sets, they solve so many problems for me with young kids and their own iPads and trying to keep them charged around the house and in the car. 20W isn’t quite fast charger territory but it is plenty to keep charging an iPad while using it and can fully charge my iPad Air from 0% to full in about 2.5 hours. These are also great for the car because the builtin USBA ports only provide 5A and 10W so they do actually drain even while plugged in, but the car has 120V in the back so I can plug these in to charge the iPads while using them. Highly recommend these for anyone who needs Apple chargers!

Can't really go wrong having a spare or extra charging block. With most devices these days, it's mostly USB-C so nice that this little 2 pack exists. Aside from my iPhone, pretty much every device I have is now USB-C. Pretty much had to trash a lot of my older ones since they took mini USB or USB-A ports or whatever USB port was needed for that cable. This 2 pack of chargers helps reduce the charging blocks and cables I have to carry and it works pretty good as well. As pictured, you only get the USB-C cable for each charging block. In most cases, that should be fine but there is a USB port on the block if you have a specific charging cable you need to use. Both are small and lightweight so no issues with traveling. Power wise, it charges at a decent rate. It's not one of those super fast chargers however it'll charge up your device fairly quickly even with both ports being used. Pretty nice little 2 pack here. I'll use one for traveling and the other I'll probably leave in my work bag just in case.

Overall verdict: 10/10. I am really pleased with this charging kit. It'll be great for anybody needing USB-C charging, and with how universal USB-C is nowadays, it can charge a variety of devices and does so well. I did hit a hiccup while unboxing the product, but I am still unsure what exactly happened. Based on the packaging, I expected two charger bricks but there was only one, and, after triple-checking the box, I can confirm that only one charger brick was included. With no sticker seal on the box, I suspect this may have been a returned item or I must have badly misinterpreted the packaging. At any rate, I consider this a one-off given nobody else has mentioned this as an issue, and it hasn't affected my overall positive impressions of this kit as I know should a similar issue arise, customer support should be able to handle it easily. Once I got past that initial confusion, I found much to like about this charging kit. The white color is clean and stylish and the five-foot charging cables are just the right length. They’re long enough to use comfortably while charging devices on a desk but not so long that they get in the way and trip you up. While the cables aren’t braided, they still feel durable enough for the price point. This 2-pack offers great value and functionality. I tested the kit with my iPad Air, Nintendo Switch OLED, Nintendo Switch Lite, and iPhone, and they all charged without any issues. I was even able to use them while they were charging, which I can't say for every charging kit on the market! Critically, the charging brick stays cool even when both USB-A and USB-C ports are in use. Even after charging several devices from empty or half-empty to completely full, it wasn't even warm. This isn’t always the case with other charging bricks so it’s reassuring to say the least, particularly when using it on the go or in a situation where you aren't monitoring the charger. Another solid point is that the brick itself isn't that large and won't take up too much space on a power strip or be an outlet hog. For being able to charge two devices at once, that is a massive win. Overall, the Best Buy essentials™ 20W Dual-Port Wall Charging Kit is a solid and affordable charging solution. It's reliable, works well, and looks nice to boot.

I bought the Best Buy essentials™ 20W Dual-Port Wall Charging Kit (2 Pack) for my grandkids—and honestly, it was one of my smartest purchases! They were always taking my chargers, so now they each have their own. The dual-port design is super convenient, allowing them to charge their phones and tablets at the same time. The charging speed is great, and the compact size makes it easy for them to use at home or pack in a bag. BOTTOM LINE: If you have a need for a pair of dual-port chargers, with dual “C” cables, and for less than the cost of fast-food meals for two, then this Best Buy essentials - 20W Dual-Port Wall Charging Kit should be seriously considered option. May not be the fastest chargers around, but they are at least doubled, or tripled, the wall adapters that were provided with mobile phone from a few years ago. Those older adapters were either ½-amp, 1-amp or 2-amp rated that provided about 3 to 10 watts of charging power, and those were only USB-A. This set will replace older adapters, and they include a few upgrades. Great for keeping a spare in your car, travel computer travel case, and/or for replacing older slowing charging 1-amp adapters. ADAPTERS: Faily small sized and includes both USB-A and USB-C outputs. Will support inputs of 100 to 240 VAC with an output of 20 Watts max. Now the USB-C output support 5 VDC at 3 Amps, so “doing the math” equates for a 15-watt charging output. Reading the fine-print, the 20-watt output is for 9 VDC output at 2.2 Amps. (I am not certain what devices would use 9-vdc; none that I currently own.) Finally, the USB-A output is rated for 5 VDC at 2.4 amps that equates to 12-watt charging. CABLES: Supplied are two 5-foot USB-C to USB-C cables that I consider “medium duty” with an enhanced thicker vinyl jacket. Doubtful the plug ends will fray or split from the cable any time soon, if ever. Very nice indeed, just not cloth braded covering. Nonetheless, at the currently selling price point, more than adequate and actually a few steps up from the cables supplied with most phones. RATING: This “Best Buy essentials - 20W Dual-Port Wall Charging Kit” earned itself a solid 5 Stars for overall value, dual ports, and upgraded cables. Go for it!

This 20W Dual-Port Wall Charging Kit has been a game-changer for my daily routine! Being able to charge both my phone and earbuds simultaneously while I'm working is incredibly convenient. The fast charging is a huge plus, getting my devices powered up quickly so I can get back to what I need to do. How many charging blocks are lying around your house? If you are like me, you have dozens in drawers, plugged in behind the couch etc. This is one that you will want to keep handy. The speed is amazing! It charges about a percentage per minute. I have pictures to prove that. We are often trying to find a C to C charger because my daughter is famous for only having those kinds of cords. Many blocks are only USB or C but not both. This block can handle whichever cord you have. You are never searching for the right kind to fit your cord. I am so glad that this comes with two blocks because we will be fighting over these! If I could change one thing about these, it would be to have the prongs of the block fold in when not in use. It would make them easier to pack in my purse and take with me. The speed of the chargers makes up for that small inconvenience. If you want a way to quickly charge your phone (or other devices), these are the chargers for you. Super fast- USB to C or C to C. I have several devices that require a usb c cable to charge the battery and also support fast charging. Currently not all devices come with a charger, so I've been looking for some good charger for those devices but the search is over. This pack of 2 20W chargers with 2 usb cables is more than I expected. In the box comes the two chargers and the two cables, and some documentation. The packaging is very simple but it's a nice touch. I think it's fair and doesn't waste a lot of cardboard and plastic. The charger has USB-C and USB-A connection, I consider this important as I still have devices that use both connections. The charger charges my ipad and iphone as if I were charging them with the original apple charger (it's worth saying that the apple charger alone without a cable costs more than this package), plus I can connect a charging station and it works without a problem. The cables are long enough, sturdy and easy to use. If you are looking for a 20W charger with cable included, this Insignia charger is one of the best options you will find in the market, and the best thing is that it is not one, it is two chargers and two cables for that price, I can definitely recommend it.

Really high quality charger here for the price. A lot of value in this two pack. Each wall charger as a USBC and USBA so you're not stuck only using one type of cord with this. Obviously its a two pack so you are getting a ton of value for the price. Keep one at home and one at work, really convenient.

Bought this mostly to avoid losing a $10 certificate, but would up using it almost immediately when I had to take a family member to the ER a couple of days later. Was great to only need one block to charge both of our phones in a crowded ER. Easy to carry and charges fast.
