It was definitely worth the hassle of running to my office. Speeds are way better than my Router/Modem was able to provide wirelessly. If you can, definitely use a cable like this. Especially if you're in an urban setting where 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi bands are crowded.

Meaning i did not have a router of my own to plug in. This Ethernet cord had to go into the wall where the complex had placed it. I got the longer cord so that it would reach to my computer area. Great cord, never gave lag or issues.
