However, if you want a stronger connection and faster internet speed from your modem, it's recommended to use a shorter cable or a higher quality one. Longer cables can cause bandwidth deterioration, latency issues, slower transmission speeds, signal deterioration, and eventual signal loss. If you have really fast internet like 1000mbps, you can choose longer cables with confidence that you'll still get a strong signal.
