I discovered I had packed the wrong charging cord so I went to the nearest BB and got this. I will not plug the USB-C cord into any old socket unless I am sure it is for charging only. The vehicle I rented did not appear to have a charging-only socket. You do not want to connect your phone to a strange vehicle! In the past I have seen in rental cars information from prior renters appear on the center screen!
