Only works with music and not every time you plug the phone in. It doesn't plug in all the way. We've used it on multiple devices and none of them will work properly. I bought this so we could use the GPS on the dash and hear it through my car speakers. Do not recommend.

They never really seem to connect well. Lot's of bad crackle or dead sound when using. Had to repeatability go to the cable connection and twist connection to get it to work. Used different headphones and this cable seemed to be the weak link. Small dollar item, so I'm not upset, but I'd rather spend more money and have a better quality item.
