I grabbed it because it is just what I need. Low and behold after pulling out the item, its a simple TRS connection and not TRRS like the package leads you to believe. I think this is a nono. I think the FTC also believes this is a nono. I think they mention it in 15 U.S.C. § 1125(a). Anyway, this cable will not carry a mic signal.
