    New computer didn't have an HDMI port so I had to get a DVI cable to connect it to the monitor. This cable does exactly what it needs to and has good value for a low price.

    I purchased this item thinking my cable was bad. Later I found that it was not the cable but my monitor. New monitors do not usually have a DVI connection so I purchased a new video card that has a DVI, HDMI, and VGA connection. Now all is well and right with the world.
