Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't know much about displays and I would have preferred if I bought an active adaptor as the maximum default refresh rate is 60 Hz with this cable, even on a monitor with a display as low as FHD (1080p). Despite that, this cable works wonderfully, I have never had any issues with it and didn't interfere with FreeSync.

Computer must have DISPLAY PORT connection. Monitor must have HDMI connection. It does not work the other way around, which is what I needed, so I had to return it. Unfortunately, the assistance I received from a Best Buy team member was not aware of this and advised me incorrectly. If you know what you need and don't expect Best Buy workers to help you find the proper solution, then this cable is might be okay for you.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the older Insignia version of this cable. It supported 3840x2160 @ 30hz and 2560x1440 @ 60hz. So does this one! I don’t have a way to test if it can do 3840x2160 @ 60hz or 2560x1440 @ 120/144hz.
