||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the cheapest 65W USB-C charging block I could find and out of the box it could only ever maintain power to my Surface Pro 7 when plugged into the *outlet* at a very specific angle. The cable plug is completely fine. I can hear the electricity snapping and crackling inside the unit when you shift it slightly in the socket. The light dims after a couple seconds and there is no power to the device. When at the correct angle, it powers the tablet perfectly fine and reliably, so long as the block isn't accidentally bumped. I'm sure it's just a defective unit and the price is at the cost of QA but since I keep this plug at home plugged in and immobile for the most part, I just have it braced at the correct angle and didn't bother getting a replacement since I couldn't return it within the time window. Just be prepared to exchange yours if it does the same! Would be very annoying for someone who has to plug in at various places.

I have one at home and one at work, so I don't need it to travel too. The price was right. No issues. Also, as a side benefit, it can give a very fast charge to my Pixel phone.
