When I bought this hub, I was looking to save money and replace a hub I already had. I use it to connect all of my hardware like keyboards, wireless mice, and even an xbox controller. A word of warning, though. The fact that the ports are USB 2.0 limits the read/write speed and will bottleneck any transfers of data from newer versions. If that's not a problem you have, then do not worry about it.

Forget those flimsy hubs that wobble and barely hold two cords! This Best Buy essentials 7-port beast is rock solid. Nice weight, snug fit in the USB port, and it feels like it's built to last. No more tangled mess of wires either - all seven ports are neatly lined up on one side, making cable organization a breeze. Plus, seven ports?! That's like a party for all my USB gadgets. This 8 port USB block is a game changer! It's perfect for charging multiple devices at once, and it charges them all really quickly too. It's also really compact and easy to take with me when I'm traveling. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase!

Great little hub at a great price! I needed it to use unpowered and it does wonderfully. I have the power cable for those times I need charging power. Very happy with this hub!

Very good USB hub, 7 ports, small form factor, works well, good price

Simple 7 port usb 2 hub allow connection of other usb 2 devices and reasonably priced. It does require external power from the transformer cord and electrical outlet.

I just needed extra ports as computer now a days only have 1 or 2. Not nearly enough for my printer, headphones, etc. Fast, easy, works as expected.

When I inquired about additional ports, this was suggested to me and I was told this would plug into one of the portholes on my desktop. Well, it does not plug into the desktop but into a power cord. In my case, it is okay as I needed it for a lamp for lighting and a fan. Plus the cords are too short for the port hub to go from under the desk to plug in and reach my desktop on the desk. It would have been great if it had plugged into the back of my computer.

I needed something small to charger multiple devices and this has worked perfectly especially for the price.

Exactly what I needed, easy to use and makes my set up much cleaner. Works great. Love the extra connections.

The cords are too short to be practical. It was a good deal and it works- but 3 ft cords for computer and power mean I'm organizing my whole work space around this hub rather than it being a useful tool. And if I buy longer cords- is not so cheap anymore, hmmmm? But it is wiring fine and as described. I wish I hadn't cheaped out and bought one with the hdmi so it was more of a mini dock

So I have a bunch of LED lights and signs for my streaming setup and this has been a life saver to power all of them. Quality, easy to run the wires to and helps keep everything organized. Huge fan!!

This hub works well. I gad a hub fail after using it for several years. This hub replaces it.

New laptops do not seem to have very many ports. This hub really helps to fill a need. Seems to work very well so far!!

Second one purchased. The first one lasted three years before it suddenly quit. Up to that time it worked flawlessly. It is cheap, functional, and a good value. Even if you might have to replace it every 36 months or so.

The perfect size for my desk. I needed extra USB ports but didn't want anything too bulky. This is perfect and good quality too!
