However, it was important to find the correct antenna location in order to achieve that clear reception. It did not increase the number of FM stations that we could receive.

The AM is not connected because I don't listen to AM anyway. It's easy to hide behind a lamp and it's nice not to have rabbit ears sticking up in the air any more.

I’m running a Cambridge Audio integrated amp, a Parasound tuner, a Sony DVD/CD player and a pair of Wharfedale Emerald 99 speakers. The antenna has boosted the signal strength and clarity of the signals in FM ( I don’t use it for AM-just not an active listener to AM). Highly recommended.

AM-FM Amplified Indoor Radio Antenna

I thought it would have been more powerfull to pull in all stations. There are two windows within 8 feet of where I have the device placed. I cannot get it any closer to the windows. It does pull in certain stations compared to the di-pole or wire antenna that Yamaha provides. I was hoping to get more stations with this type of device. It works but not as what I thought it would do.

Just make sure you put it in the window. Delivery to my residence was very good within a week. The cord is plenty long for installation. I would advise You to pick this FM antenna up from your local Best Buy. 5 Stars.
