Bought it to replace my old analog antenna. It still work okay, but wanted a new one for digital signals. So far very satisfied. Would recommend this product.

A 20 year-old amplified rabbit-ears from another receiver worked fine but I need it on the other receiver. Why does Best Buy not sell an amplified rabbit-ears? I believe those long pullout antenna rods are needed for weak FM signals.

As it is, it didn't do any better - either amplified or unamplified - than the cobbled-together one I had. It's better than nothing and it "works", but lower your expectations.

Previously I had no AM antenna so now iIcan at least get a few AM stations and I may keep it for that alone.
