I had very little success with the consistency of signal so eventually gave up after many, many attempts with various antenna's

The TV is right at a window and I even tried placing the antenna outside. Poor reception. I live in a city, not remote at all. It's a complete waste of money. Don't bother. Get a higher powered item.

The employees in store were all saying they're the same. A tad bit concerning to hear given the price difference. I read all the mile ranges and physical size in my window. This one gave me all the local channels for a week. Then ABC became an issue. Did a rescan and it dropped half the channels. Even with the amplifier it's not great. So if you're buying this get a very high point with direct access to a window. Just not possible for me or most people

Recently cut the cable cord, and streaming with Roku (love it). This antenna was to help us get the local channels. It was easy enough to assemble and attach. We live in a major metro area, so plenty of OTA channels nearby. This thing picked up 20+ channels, but the reception was horrible....pixelated. Attempted moving it around, and it help for certain channels. Do yourself a favor and bypass these ultra thin antennas, and buy something more substantial. This is just outside the return window, so it's going in the trash.
