The TV is now in the basement so I looked for something a little stronger and chose the BB Amplified Ultra thin indoor HDTV antenna. Setting it up was very easy and it appears to be stronger than the Insignia antenna. I cannot say how it will work in stormy weather, but it managed fine during our PNW heat wave (so far).

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bet this would be the perfect product with favorable and calm weather conditions, clear skies, not a single tree in sight, etc. However, for folks looking for a decent antenna for the money, I would recommend checking out either this one or its sister, the Insignia HDTV antenna. Yes, reception might be affected for some channels if the weather isn't favorable, but bad weather doesn't last forever, and it still doesn't beat not having to pay for cable channels you don't need or watch. Be open minded about where you place or the best position for the antenna. What are you waiting for? Go ahead and try it out.
