Got this product open box and it seems to work well. With these things its more about placement and your house's location to the towers, but as far as i can tell it's working okay for me. Supposedly it works better higher up and on a window, but in my particular setup that's not an option. I've used it to watch the superbowl and a few other sporting events and that's been okay.

First off the device on his own is super easy to set up and the stand is a great addition. It doesn’t take up much room but I use mine in a window with double-sided tape or Velcro. It’s not the most attractive thing but there again anytime you’ve got a piece of square plastic sitting anywhere vertically it’s kind of an eyesore. Putting it behind the TV of course limits reception. It’s hidden but it doesn’t work as well. Putting it in the window works better but it’s a little bit more tacky looking. However with all of these plastic antennas you do you need some sort of amplification. Nonetheless just like every other antenna, it’s not omnidirectional. It’s pretty simple to tell that it’s not because if you turn it you pick up more or less stations. anyhow depending on which window you put it in or which direction it’s facing and of course any to rain or walls other electronic interference trees weather solar flares etc. you’re going to pick up more or less channels. My recommendation is to find the time of day and location for mounting that gets you the most channels and then as you go through them on a day-to-day basis go ahead and remove any channels that have super weak signal as you check each channel at different times of the day. You’re never going to pick up those channels so get rid of them. But I’m able to pick up at least five channels very clearly with a few sporadic static he channels and it even registers a few channels that have absolutely no signal. There’s really no substitute for a fully powered and amplified attic or roof aerial antenna on a motor. The only thing better would be actual cable that did not cause an arm and a leg.

It's simple, inexpensive, easy to install and WORKS! We now don't have any of what we call pixling in the picture or lost of sound on the channels we already had, plus we now get several more channels.

Work OK if in a larger metro area and if mounted in the window. A bit less signal range and strength if installed on a table near the window. You have to balance the distance between the TV and the window facing the right direction. Not as good as a roof mounted antenna, but it's better than nothing. It's an acceptable solution if there are strong towers within about 25 miles of the house.

Wow, amazed with the quality of this antenna! For the price, I wasn't expecting much really. I live in the country, and about 45 miles away from most stations except PBS. I'm surrounded by trees around my house, and have a metal roof. I wanted to start low and work my way in price if needed. ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC, and PBS in all their crystal clear FREE broadcast wonderfully received with this antenna. Their smaller stations quality is a mixed bag but that's because they're not all broadcast in HD. They only channel I can't receive so far is the CW.

Second purchase of this item because it works very well. If you are an active person who prefers not to invest in cable this will provide you with a significant number of FREE channels.

I bought one of these for my aunt that lives in a rural area in central PA. I was so impressed that I bought myself one when I got home. I had an old one in my bedroom that worked but it was glitchy and I couldn't get channels that I was getting on my tv downstairs. I replaced it with this and boom, I got all the channels that I get on my living room tv (that is connected to a high powered antenna in my attic.) It isn't a miracle worker, I only get like 25 or so channels. But for the price it works great and I get all my local channels. I'm happy with it.

Antenna works very well. There is 1 local channel I can't get put that is likely due to the location of the antenna in the house. If there was a window in this particular room facing towards the towers it would probably work better. The TV towers are approximately 30 miles away. Very easy to set up and scan channels. I did like the antenna holder it came with. I didn't have to mount it to a wall.

I have 3 of these and they suit my purposes fine. For the price, not bad. I ditched cable over a year ago and these fill the gap for OTA network channels and more.
