No drivers or software required other than your video card driver. AMD Catalyst still reported it as HDMI which is probably a good thing.

Picture and sound worked immediately and look great. Hopefully it will continue to work.

I've been using this for a few weeks now, and haven't had a single issue with it. I do have to say, I've tried using it with a VANKYO Leisure 430W Mini Wi-Fi Projector, but it doesn't seem to work. I think it's more on the projector or my computer than the actual adapter, but it's something to be aware of.
