My old tower computer was going to be used as a media PC and plugged into my television, but my television did not have any of the available ports (VGA, DisplayPort, etc). This one adapter saved the day by allowing me to plug my computer into the TV's HDMI port. Truly a must-have for any computer or media device that doesn't have an HDMI port.

Buy This Instead of Something More Expensive

Have used numerous adapters. They have these behind the counter if you ask for them at roughly half the price of their branded ones sitting on shelves. For products like these as for Best Buy essentials stuff, and you'll be golden. Works great in general, and paying more without a specific reason is a waste.

Needed an adapter ASAP
