Don’t use them for charging, only for data. They might melt if you use it to charge, but it works great to transmit data. I only have type A usb ports on my pc, and I have a type c-3.5mm single I use for my microphone, and it gets the job done.

this item works great to transfer photos etc from my ipad and cell phones to my usb male attachement on my computer Apple had different attachments than other computers so you need this to make them work together.

I was so excited to see these. Upgrading to new electronics that have USB-C instead of a USB has left me buying plugs. The first time great. But, multiple upgrades for multiple family members was looking to be a huge expenditure. These are so easily portable that I have been able to take them to work and on trips and charge my items where USB ports are the norm.

These are a great little adapter solution if you're like me and you have a bunch of mismatches between devices and cords during this transition between USB A and USB C for most major technology. They charge well through and I haven't identified any issues with throttling.

Easy to install and compatible with my older system. Curbside pickup made it a quick run when I was in a hurry and needed the adapter asap.

I went into the Burlington Massachusetts store and it seemed as though no one could find my order that I had ordered online then one of the manager stepped up named jeff he was unbelievable. He turned what was a loss into a win. I was ready to walk out the door And Jeff came over and calm me down promised me that they would find the items and within five minutes he did I will go back to the Burlington store and in the market for a new laptop. I’ll definitely be going to Best Buy in Burlington because of Jeffs great management and customerservice

It Happens: I'm visiting with a friend or family member, and while I might have my laptop in-tow, I'm officially "off-duty" from my IT-rescue stuff, and thusly don't have my usual tools at-hand, but suddenly someone has a problem: they need to grab a file from one device to put on another, but don't have the right cable to connect those devices together, and wireless transfer won't cut it, assuming that's even an option. Most of the time, something like this can get me out of such a jam, and besides being cheap, it's drop-dead easy to carry - just slip it over the keychain and forget it until it's needed. Highly recommended.

Since some electronics now use USB C, it's important to have adapters such as these to be able use your legacy USB A ports. These work fine. I would have no problem recommending them.

If you don’t have usb c ports this is what you need. And the tether is super cool to keep things together.

This is the best thing ever invented. Since I got the new iPhone I needed something for my car that only has usb to charge my phone. Thankfully this gadget exists in this time because I would be screwed. Love how it comes with 2 of them and they work great. Highly recommend

I have the original apple charger connected to this adapter for over a year now, and still working on my truck to play CarPlay. Love this little adapter device!
