Instantly recognized by computer. Medium size - large enough to type without keyboard-induced typos, and small enough to not overwhelm a computer desk or to be too heavy to maneuver gracefully between lap and desk. Keys have a good medium feel and touch - not loud and "clicky" like the old IBMs and not mushy like many membrane keyboards. It's a straight keyboard design with no ergonomic curves or wrist rest, however - like I said, "basic."

It is also very silent. But the keys are extremely sensitive, like there's no push back. I keep hitting the 0 and the space bar just because I was close the them. And for some reason the letter E does not respond well when pressed quicky after another key. I've had many keyboards and I work with computers every day, and I had never had this problem before. I will probably have to replace this keyboard earlier than expected.

Been moving away from wireless keyboards and mice for my customers, to wired, as they don't require batteries, and hence cut down on service tickets with "keyboard or mouse not working correctly". 9 times out of 10 it's dead batteries, and most don't know these wireless devices even have batteries, so wired is safe and easy to maintain, but you have a wire. If that's a big deal for you then go wireless. This is an entry level keyboard, not mechanical, not for gaming, for regular everyday users or business use.
