    It works as intended on my Dell Laptop. i did not have any problems hooking it to the laptop. It was also cheaper than the other keyboards. I have had Logitech keyboards that cost close to $100, and they do not last very long. My letters start wearing off the key around 8 months. I do type a lot. I don't know how long it will last, but so far it is a good keyboard.
