I also purchased a flat back option. I stuck it near my radio and have not had a problem. Magnets are chefs kiss. Slap my phone and it stays. It even holds my heavy S23 ultra

It takes a bit of effort to get it on the ac vent and it does block some of the air flow, but once it's on, it stays on pretty good. When putting it on the vent, make sure to push on the little wings attached to the clipy part, not the front magnet part. Pushing on the front magnet part might break it. Otherwise it works well for me. It holds my phone like it should and doesn't drop it.

Bought 3 of these and 1 fits perfect. Another is somewhat tightly fitting but the third feels loose. This is because on three different cars you find variances in vent shapes/sizes causing this to be more snug fit in some versus others. Overall a good value and works fairly well.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this and a Scosche MagSafe mount at the same time and this is by far cheaper and stronger at holding both my iPhone 16 Pro Max and a Pixel 9 Pro XL with a MagSafe style case than the Scosche. I can’t vouch for the vent mount, because I already have a really good adjustable one, that this just happens to fit. But the magnetic part is great.

Great potential but grip doesn’t last long

The issue I had was the piece that clamps to the vent lost its gripping strength and would no longer stay in place, my phone would come crashing down with the holder still attached. If Best Buy could fix that it would be a 5 star product.

Straightforward and effective MagSafe Mount!

It was a bit difficult to attach to the vent, but this is good as the clamp is very stiff and holds stable once attached. It's very lightweight on its own, so I'm not worried about it being too heavy for the vent, and the shape of the clip guard keeps it from wobbling around vertically while your phone is attached. The magnets are strong, and the best thing about this is that placing your phone on this while you've got the AC running in the car will keep your phone cool, especially in this AZ heat.
