However, it quickly showed it was a broken or junk product. Whenever the monitor or laptop goes into sleep mode and I then go to wake them device there are all kinds of display issues like red moving lines etc across the screen and the only way to get them to go away is to unplug the adapter and then plug it back in. After dealing with this fort a week or two thinking it had to be something else I finally swapped out this adapter for another one. The problem instantly went away. Either I was shipped a totally junk/broken item or it’s simply a bad item. Whatever the case it took me too long to figure out this product was the cause of my problem so I can’t return it.

Stopped working after 6 months

One of the associates gave me this item but this cable does not fit on my laptop. I went back to the store for a return but they did not make a return, They said you open this packet, we can't take back this item.
