    Most people don't realize the original LG filter has two certificates 42 and 53. One is just for chlorine, the other is for the really bad stuff. Thr cheaper filters remove chlorine taste, But this one removes them all at a great price. Water taste is great too! Will buy again. Fitment was not a problem for pur LG fridge.

    I was very happy to find the generic brand of these water filters for our LG refrigerator. They fit perfectly and our ice cubes taste normal again. Quite a bit cheaper than name brand too! Will purchase again!

    They work well. I had some difficulty getting it to fit the first time, but if you rotate it 90° and try again it will fit and lock. They are harder to install than the LG brand, but they did eventually fit. Water quality is the same, as the same standard tests were conducted. These were roughly half the price of name brand! I did try some comparable water drop filters from Amazon, and those didn't fit. The LG filter has a 360° groove where it connects; the water drop had none and this one has 180° groove.

    Usually i purchase the LG brand, but the vest buy rep recommended giving their store brand a try. Its a pretty good value and does well to male the water clean and free of weird tastes. Better than the knock offs on Amazon that we have tried
