Does not increase the size substantially, seems to grip the case well (does not slide off top or bottom). I use a rubber band around the case to keep the lid closed. If you're going to hang the case off that little ring, the case will not stop the case from popping open. The case DOES seem, for me, to limit the use of the Apple Watch wireless charger.

It technically does its job, but it feels flimsy and does not inspire much confidence in terms of real protection. The material is thin and soft, so it barely adds any impact resistance and feels more like a cosmetic cover than serious protection. One of the biggest annoyances is how much dust, lint, and random hairs it attracts. Any time it went into a pocket or bag, it came back looking dirty and needed to be wiped off. It also did not grip the AirPods case very well, sometimes shifting or peeling around the edges instead of staying snugly in place. The included plastic ring was another weak point. It did not feel very durable from the start, and sure enough, it broke after about three months of normal use, so I ended up removing it entirely. That took away one of the main reasons to use a case like this in the first place. To its credit, it did mostly protect the AirPods case from minor scratches when tossed into a pocket with keys or into a busy purse, so my AirPods themselves stayed in decent cosmetic shape. Even with that, I would not buy this case again and would look for something sturdier and less of a dust magnet.
