Not what expected. The quality can be better. Don’t look save enough for the tv

Not worth the money. Holds the TV too close to the wall... so close the tilt adjustment needs a custom tool to be functional (no room to loosen / tighten). Barely enough room to input cables in the side mounted jacks... no room to access back facing jacks.

One of the two had no hardware so I’m stuck with a tv mount I paid for and cannot use

Best Buy Essentials TV Mount for 47 inches to The TV Mount comes with two packages. Once you read the instructions, this helps in knowing how to put the TV Mount together and understanding the location of the assembly and its functions. One with the main screws lettered H through N and the other package comes with a variety of bushings and washers lettered P through U. Additionally has 4 screws with the letter 0 on the same package. The TV brackets are lettered B and C. The brackets come with a pull string for tv attachment and or detachment. This assists with locking in place the mechanism. The TV brackets attach to the TV, have a pull string mechanism, allowing ease of attachment to the wall mount bracket. This helps with detaching and/or detaching from the wall. By having each part lettered, this makes it more uniformed and easier assembling. The TV Mount also comes with a template on where to locate or drill the holes for the spacing of the TV brackets. I am glad that this is included, as I didn't have to guess what to do. Once you have attached the TV brackets on the TV, the wall template allows for you to see the spacing where the brackets will be on the Wall Mount. It helps with the spacing of where the screws will be. Instructions are provided if you have a Wood Based Wall or a Concrete Wall. In my case, I have wood wall, where you have to find the stud using a stud finder. With wood walls must be careful to make sure its center in the center of the studs. This is why I used a stud finder, so I could measure properly. When installing the TV brackets, make sure the letters are vertical. This allows the angle adjuster for the TV to be adjusted from flat to angled down. This helps with positioning the TV downward angle. The angle adjuster has butterfly screws that allows for the adjustment to lock in place. Once you have attached wall mount bracket on the wall, I recommend two people assisting with making sure everything aligned so that the angle bracket is locked into place on the wall mount bracket. Yes, I would recommend this to other. Pros: Assembly design allows less weight, than previous brands that I have tried. Comes in 3 convenient brackets for easy assembly. Cons: Nothing at this time. If I see any within the next 30 days, will update the review.

I have had several television mounts over the years from numerous different brands and have come to love the simplicity, sturdiness, cost-effectiveness, and utility of Best Buy's Essential line. So when it came time to get a mount for my new 75 inch set, that was the first place I looked. I did not need a full motion mount for where this television was going to be located, nor was I looking for anything with lots of fluffy frills (that almost no one ever needs). I came across this tilting model and knew right off it was the one. The packaging is relatively small which can be deceiving, but I have learned the simple design of these mounts just does not take up a lot of space. There are really only three main parts--the cross brace and two arms that attach to the television itself. Installation is about as straight-forward as it gets and the included instructions are clear and easy to follow. Everything you need to mount to wood studs or a concrete wall is included in the hardware pack, as are an abundance of screws and spacers for attaching the arms to your television. It took me about 15 minutes to unpack, assemble, and fully mount the television to the wall. The only help I needed was hoisting the set itself up and onto the wall bracket. There are set screws on each arm so that once you get the perfect angle you can lock it into place and not have to worry about it moving around. Because this mount lets the television sit close to the wall--about 2 inches or so--getting to those screws might be a bit tough if you have large hands, but I haven't had any issues. And unless you decide to adjust the tilt on a regular basis, it should be a one-time deal. Otherwise, this is just a well-made and easy to use mount that should work for practically any large television out there (within the specifications, obviously).

I have used a lot of different wall mounts over the years and they have all performed well. This wall mount by Best Buy Essentials is no different. It is what you'd expect a television wall mount to be. It's nothing more or nothing less. It has a very well built feeling. It's the standard black gloss color. It is a very simple and minimalistic design. The bracket pieces feel well built as well and follow the same color and design. The built in pull string is a nice touch as it can be hard to get to the little screws on the mount I was using prior. With the help of my friend, we took down my TV and removed the old brackets and mount from the wall. We then cleaned the wall up to remove and dust and debris from removing the old bolts. Once cleaned, we reused the same holes to mount the new wall mount. It mounted just fine and took just a few minutes to level out and tighten into place. The next thing we did was install the brackets on the back of the television. My TV uses a VESA pattern of 300x300. The brackets fit it perfectly. Once we adjusted the tilt on the brackets, we lifted up the television and installed it onto the mount itself. It was pretty much effortless and the hardest part was holding the tv as it's a 75 inch and it's a bit awkward to hold. Once the tv was installed, all was good. I like the way my tv sits much better on this one and it is closer to the wall, which I like too. The tilt is perfect for my needs as well. Overall, this is a great mount at a very reasonable price.

This Best Buy Essentials Large tilting wall mount for 47 to 84 inch TVs is an excellent TV stand if you don't have a lot of need for a lot of movement once this stand is in place. It is very quick and easy to install. Especially if you have two or three people. One person can do the first part, mounting the majority of the mount to the wall. Then you screw the other components onto the back of the TV. Once that is done is when you will need other people, again, preferably two. If you have two people to lift the TV, then you can easily have the third person guide the two pieces of the device together, and then two more screws and you are done. This is a great, affordable TV mount, but it isn't for you if you need the TV to have a lot of mobility up and down, or to be able to turn so somebody at a 90° angle to the TV could watch it. But if you are just wanting a stationary position for your TV that is easy to install and easy to adjust, this is definitely it. Installation time is 10-30 minutes, depending on how prepared you are, and how many people you have to help.

He of course didn’t say no to the opportunity, but didn’t have a mount of his own and was hesitant to do the mount. Unfortunately I left him with no choice unless he wanted to order some feet from the manufacturer, so we set off to get the old TV mounted in the living room of his apartment. For such an inexpensive mount I was pleasantly surprised to have all the right hardware necessary to do the job, along with a wall mount template to line things up the bracket is low profile and tilting, which is all most people will really need for a TV of this size. The instructions made everything very clear and with the right tools we made quick work of getting everything attached to the wall and the TV. Even if you’re handy, I’d highly recommend this be a two person job. It gives you the opportunity to make sure things are the way you want them before making a semi permanent decision to put holes in the wall. All in all I’d say the Best Buy essentials product did exactly what a more expensive mount would do and saved some money compared to the rest. I’d definitely buy one again!
