It has usb-c but it's the wrong kind, not video output. The USB-3 to hdmi adapter worked fine, just plug and play, no installation, no drivers to download.

Now I know that I could've done something wrong, but if anyone could help me I would love it. All I need to know is how to set up a windows laptop as a monitor for a hp windows desktop/pc.
