Best value on the market of any warranty or service. Started out as a service for my wife’s laptop (she isn’t easy on them). Found out it covered my TV purchase, 2nd laptop and more! AppleCare, no problem, covered! Coverage is cheaper than a single AppleCare coverage, can’t go wrong!!!!

I came in needing a laptop repaired and was told that this membership would save me money and give me more access to things like unlimited geek squad support including for items I didn’t buy from Best Buy but needed help with and access to exclusive deals from Best Buy. The membership renews annually from the day you got it and I’ve enjoyed having it so far. I only rated it 4 stars because I recently got it and haven’t been able to truly use it a ton yet, but it seems great so far

I have had Best Buy- Geek Squad membership since year 2017. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the remote Geek Squad IT Techs had fixed my many HP com puter issues. They were my very knowledgeable, pleasant tech experts! On December 16,2025, I had the Geek Squad team dismantled my hacked [2] non-functional HP computer. I purchased a Chromebook that I like very much. I also purchased another annual Geek Squad membership from the South Maryland Pkwy store, Las Vegas, NV.

The membership is a good value for me. Invariably, I run into issues with my computers or have questions about how best to do something. The tech support is competent, professional and always available. I had canceled it briefly and soon realized it was a mistake. It is nice to have support that I can rely on whenever I need it.

I BROGHT MY HP LAPTOP TO GEEK SQUAD AT BEST BUY. IT WOULDN 'T COMPLETE THE START FUNCTION. THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE MAIN DRIVER AND DISC AND OTHER THINGS I DON'T UNDERSTAND. THE PRICE WAS MINIMAL AND GOT A WARRANTY AND A I YEAR MEMBERSHIP INCLUDED. THEY WERE HONEST AND SAID IT WAS AN OLDER UNIT IT WAS WELL WORTH SAVING RATHER THAN BUYING A NEW ONE. This team is the best I have ever encountered. I’ve been a Totaltech member for three years and Geek Squad for 5-years before that. I call them primarily to help me out with technical issue with either my laptop or my printer or my phone. They are polite, easy to talk with, and they in turn are easily understood making sure that you’re completely satisfied before ending the connection. We enjoyed a bonus this year when we bought a major appliance and found that because we we’re Totaltech members we enjoyed an additional discount as well as free delivery and set up & an additional year on the warranty.

Had purchased a new phone from Best Buy and thought I needed Verizon to transfer, but they couldn't due to my plan, so went back to Best Buy to do it. Purchased the Annual membership as the transfer would have cost almost that much. Was glad I did when I needed to go back with questions. Also applies to my laptop!

Best Buy Total Membership is so much more than a protection plan. With expensive items such as cell phones, laptops and computers, TV’s, drones and robotic vacuums knowing you not only get a manufacturer warranty but extended protection and the repair/replacement from Geek Squad is a money saver and piece of mind. Just as beneficial are the member pricing, advanced sale price offerings and discount sale notifications so I don’t miss a good deal. As items age and are still being used I typically take advantage of extending the Geek Squad protection for a few dollars a month once they come off the initial plan. Money well spent.

I just renewed my contract this year 2026 for another years to come. This is a peace of mine that Best Buy Gerk Squad team ms offers to endsure that anything breaks down no questions asks but honor the promises protection plan. Either Reoair it or Replace it.

Peace of mind on the purchase of my HP laptop is a big reason I love the protection. Love this service provided by Best Buy. I have used them for many different reasons from installing Alexa in my car, setting up ring devices all over my home, many repairs on phones,iPads and computers. Help with routers and picking out the best one for my situation.. everyone I have come in contact with has been knowledgeable and understanding. Recently I purchase a Best Buy membership along with two MSI 15.6” thins and they have preformed far beyond my expectations, though the fans can be loud my temperatures while playing demanding games are beyond satisfactory. This is a perfect laptop for gamers and student alike as I have used it for both. I upgraded the ddr5 from 8gb to 16gb for both laptops and the tech team there was happy to install for me since I was on the go, and this was a free service included in my Best Buy total membership. They provide diagnostic as well as data transfers along with many other services included with my membership purchase. I 100% will be repurchasing when my plan expires. It’s beyond worth the money and my family and I will surely remain customers for life due to the quality of service I received.

My Best Buy Total™ Membership Review I’ve been using the My Best Buy Total membership for a while now, and I think it’s a solid option if you shop at Best Buy often or buy a lot of electronics. What I like: The extended return window is really helpful. You get 60 days to return most items, which gives you time to really test things out. The 24/7 tech support is convenient. I’ve used it a couple of times for setup questions and minor issues, and the help was quick and easy. You get two years of protection on most purchases, which includes accidental damage. That’s saved me money already on a broken pair of headphones. Free shipping is fast and reliable, which is nice if you don’t live near a store. What could be better: It’s not cheap. At around $180 a year, you really need to use the benefits to make it worth it. The exclusive deals are okay, but not amazing. Sometimes you’ll find better discounts elsewhere. If you don’t buy electronics regularly, the membership probably isn’t worth it. Overall: If you’re someone who buys tech often and wants extra protection and support, this membership makes sense. But if you’re only shopping once or twice a year, you might be better off sticking with the free My Best Buy tier.

I love the fact that should I have a problem or question regarding any of my Best Buy purchases, especially my desktop or laptop, I can simply log on to Best Buy Geek Squad (make sure you include Best Buy in your search for Geek Squad, as there are imposters out there), and get any concerns resolved.
