Infrared WORKS but not supposed 2 b hot!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Infrared light "heat" isnt really supposed to heat you up - its VERY healing light that penetrates the skin layers & heals WELL OVER TIME. Its too bad they call this a heater. Unless it has something more than infrared light, it wont get very hot BUT IT WILL cause knees & carpal tunnel wrists etc to heal after regular daily 15 minute use for some weeks. You'll think nothing is happening, then you'll realize those knees arent hurting & wrisy is healing, or whatever injury area yoy use it on. Even if you stop using it after a month of almosy daily use, the pain will be gone for 6 to 8 weeks. Idk why they call it a heater.

It was definitely warm on the body, but it just didn't do it for me. I'm stuck using the icy Hot.
