This device is made with quality parts and doesn’t look/feel cheap at all. As others have said, it can be painful. I would recommend using the treatment for sensitive skin first to test out the device in different areas of your body since it uses heat, and it can hurt! Using the normal treatment on my forearm was fine because it was barely painful at all. On the other hand, when I used it on my thigh, i had to opt for the sensitive treatment and clench my teeth because it was a lot more painful than the arm. One more thing that I love about this thing is how easy it is to carry around. I can put it in all my pcckets because it’s smaller than my phone, and is only like 3 inches long!

This tool works great. Has a slight burn but definitely gets rid of the itch.

The product is easy to set up. Two modes and I haven't tried the 6 second mode. Honestly, the 3 second mode is long enough. The initial treatment is painful (really hot). But if you apply it as soon as you get the bite, the itch goes away. I am the fortunate one to inherit the allergic reactions from my mother and this has brought me so much relief this summer! I love it so much that I have one for work, one for home, and bought one for my mom! The bite itch does come back after 24 hours even after treatment immediately. But it is definitely less severe and I don't think about scratching it constantly, hence it heals quicker.

While I have had the unit for a couple of months, the opportunity to use it only came up about a week ago. After about 15 minutes after being bit by a mosquito, I noticed the typical red bump and itching sensation. I pulled out the unit, turned it on and did the 6 second treatment, by placing the face of the unit on the mosquito bite and pressing the button twice. I felt a hot sensation for the sis seconds and once the treatment was complete, the itching was gone. Previous reviews stated that small children may find the heat more traumatic than the mosquito bite. I would try it on yourself and assess if you want to use it on yourchild.

Not going to lie, I definitely thought this was going to be some "as seen on TV" gimmicky product that wasn't really going to do anything- BUT I was wrong. Read the reviews, trust the reviews, this thing works. Note for you: this thing kinda hurts, it's job is to get hot! That being said if you can withstand the small amount of pain it's worth every penny (especially when you get it on sale!). I've been so impressed with it I bought a second one to have in my car. This thing is especially useful against fire ant bites.. I used it and it prevented the white head that usually forms an hour later. 10/10 highly recommend

I tend to my lawn and garden every weekend and it's no surprise that I get insert bites! I'm sensitive to these bites and their stings last several hours before they disappear. Very uncomfortable! Based on the reviews of this product and it was Deal of the Day, I bought it to give it a try. And wow! I'm so glad I did. After watering my persimmon trees, I got insect bites right away, 2 on my thigh and 1 on my arm. Tried this product and bam, the itchiness was gone instantly! The swelling was still there but what's important is that they were no longer itchy! Rarely write reviews but compelled to do so for this product!

When I bought this product, I was skeptical. I read reviews before purchasing and decided to buy the item and return it if it was just a gimmick. When I first used this on a mosquito bite I was very surprised, it immediately healed the bite. The itchiness was gone along with the bump itself. Yes, it isn't pleasant to use, but it doesn't burn. The heat is how it heals insect bites. In my opinion it is completely worth the money and the 3 seconds of discomfort for removing insect bites! A great buy and I will definitely be checking out other products from this innovative company.

Initially I was skeptical about its effectiveness and also hesitant to keep using and having to endure the burning sensation. However my brain quickly coped and my tolerance threshold adapted. After each application the itch really went away. Sometimes I would reapply if I get impatient and it does not burn enough to scar the skin or anything. This is the second unit I bought since it went on sale again. Although I don't feel the device is cheap, I want to keep one in my car and another in my golf bag.

Works better than expected. Even effective on bites that are a day or two old, albeit they may require a second or third application. My device came with 2xAAA batteries. The battery compartment door can is easily opened with additional tools. Appreciate the compact size.

Surprisingly this works! I got this prolly more out of curiosity, but it actually works. Yes, there is a sting at first, but nothing too much to handle. So far it's gotten rid of or significantly reduced my mosquito bites.

This has been a game changer for my spouse and I when the mosquitos are out in force. For most any mosquito bite, as long as you use it fairly soon after the original bite, you have pretty good results. Your mileage will vary for other types of bites and if you wait a long time to use. Treats with heat so mentally prepare yourself for how hot it can briefly get, but that's what makes it work. For the cost and the surprising effectiveness, we were looking to give these out as overwhelming utilitarian stocking stuffers.

I was impressed with how well this worked. I was bitten a couple times while grilling in the backyard, and I remembered that I had bought this when I got back inside. Immediately applied this to the bites, and just like that, they didn't itch anymore. Very impressed

It really works! After getting bit by a mosquito, I apply this heat for a full cycle and never feel an itch or anything else from the bite again. Can’t believe it works and love the small design. A friend purchased a larger model, but I didn’t find it as effective as this one. This one has a ceramic plate which is easy to place on the bite and emits the right amount of heat to treat the bite. I highly recommend this item.

Little powerful tool that gives relief in itchiness and prevent from scratching. Gets a bit too hot to use on children.

I am surprised to say that this really works. I bought it a few months ago and have 3 instances so far that it was used. The first time was with "chigger" bites. I had more than 24 bites that were driving me crazy. I remembered that I had this device, and tried it. I use it in the 3 second mode. It is as much as I can handle. It gets really hot! I can do anything until the count of 3, so it isn't so bad - plus, there really is relief when the 3 seconds are up. However, I had to use it a couple of times a day on each bite. The problem is that with chigger bites they only show up a few days later. This device works best the sooner after the bite you can use it. It wasn't my first time getting chigger bites, and they hurt for a few days - but after using this device they hurt for fewer days than my previous experience. I didn't write a review immediately, because I wanted to try it immediately after a bite. It took another month, and I got bitten by a tiny spider (I think). I used the device within the hour that I got bitten - and I felt no pain at all later that day or the following days. The third time it was used was by a friend who got bitten by mosquitoes. She felt no pain or itching the next day. It is small, and could easily be carried when out in nature. I am glad that I took a chance with it.

The mosquitoes by us are pretty bad especially this time of year so this came in hand and surprisingly works. There is a little sting that you feel but worth it instead of the constant itching from a mosquito bite. I think given the initial sting, it might be hard to use for most younger kids but should be fine for older kids and adults

Was a little skeptical; however, the wife is a mosquito magnet so I thought I'd give it a shot as she hates spraying deet on when we go out for walks and the little deet free ankle bracelets are only partially good. WOW! Works fantastically for her. When we get home we check out her lower legs and use the Healer on any bites she may have gotten. She said it works wonderfully and the itch never shows up. Glad I took the risk!

Bought this a few months ago on a Deal of the Day, but finally just got a mosquito bite, and was thrilled to find that this works! I used it right after I noticed the bite and it didn't develop into an itchy, red bump. I still felt a very faint itch a day or two later, but nothing bad, plus I just used this again where the bite was and it helped stop the itch. It gets very hot, but not intolerable, just something you need to get used to.

I first tried the ‘hot spoon’ method to the insect bite and it didn’t really do anything. I later tried using this device for a new bug bite and it really works! But it only works if I didn’t start scratching the bug bite which spreads the venom. On a cautious note, just don’t keep it on your skin if you feel that it is getting too hot. I remove it from my skin when it starts feeling uncomfortable and have had no issues.
