Painful

It got such good reviews but honestly I can't say whether it works a lot. I just can't get past the pain of using it.

There are two heat applications you can give yourself — click the button once for a 3-second application (sensitive skin) or click the button twice for a 6-second application. I thought at first it was working great, but the itch came back. I tried it again. It says there are 300 applications in the product, but if you have to give yourself multiple applications for each bite, the device would only treat 100-150 bug bites (or fewer). Overall I was nonplussed. My kids told me there is a bug bite vacuum that may be more effective.

Hurts to use

We liked the idea of it, but so far, everyone seems to think it hurts a lot. My wife tried it twice on the sensitive setting and she said it was extremely painful and won't try it on the kids. We have a sucker device that you use on bug bites and she says that it is painless so she'd rather use that.

Interesting concept

Hurt on touch

Works but really hurts

Not as effective as hoped

It does not "heal" bug bites. And for me, it only minimalized the amount of scratching. It heats the affected area enough to quell the initial itching. However, after a while, especially if you brush the bite area against something, it will start itching again. I still use this device on bite areas ('tis the season for them right now) but now I know not to expect complete eradication of the itching.
