I prefer the preventative method of using bug spray to prevent mosquito bites. But this is fairly easy to use and easy to have on your body while camping for extended days.

The heating plate might be unpleasant for some, which the best option would be to use a shorter treatment time. But yes, it does get hot! I am glad you found the healer easy to use.
