Again and again unyil the battery drained and but it again.

It burnt me and was not very easy to use. I get bad bites but it doesnt work for me

This is a great little device. Very easy to use and brings quick relief. Just install the batteries, turn it on are press the button and it’s ready to go. You can click the button once for a 3 second treatment or twice in rapid succession for 6 seconds. The heating element does get pretty hot so it’s definitely going to get your attention, especially on more sensitive areas. But wow does it work! My girlfriend for whatever reason is pretty much walking mosquito bait so it didn’t take long to be able to give this thing a good test. She LOVES it. She also got hooked by our cats claw as she was walking by and we used it on that with good results as well. Pain was gone in a few seconds along with any itchiness. All in all we are very impressed with the effectiveness of Insect Bite Healer and are very happy to have this treatment available to use for all future nature nibbles. I would most definitely recommend this to a friend.

Waste of money do not recommend it to buy. Burns skin

you have to use it right away for it to work. if you wait, like if you are out of your house and want to use it when you come home, its not very workable

I thought this might be a good thing to have with summer around the corner. It is very small so you can take it anywhere. When you get an insect bite, you put this on top of it and press the button. It feels like you're getting zapped, a piercing feeling. Standard setting lasts 6 seconds and is bearable, sensitive setting (pressing twice) is better. It actually works by zapping the saliva or venom from the insect and dries it out preventing further bodily reaction. It's a great tool to combat the inevitable bug bites during the summer season.

waste of money... i have to return it because its not really working!

It didn’t work and it got returned. Maybe it was a defected item however I didn’t get another one.

I figured this thing was a total scam, and got one just to prove that it didn’t work… well, I was wrong… to my surprise, this thing actually works. And it works well. It runs on two AAA batteries, which are thoughtfully included. Small on/off switch and an appropriately sized activation button. The activation button also has a two-segment circular light around it, which indicates whether you’ve selected 3 (half-circle) or 6 (full-circle) seconds of treatment. Press the button once for 3 seconds or double-press for 6. Simple as can be. The idea is, as soon as practical after you get a bite/sting, you treat it with this device. Hold the ceramic part of the device on the bite, then single/double press (depending on if you want 3 or 6 seconds of treatment) the activation button. You WILL feel an intense heat during the treatment! It isn’t unbearable, for most, but it certainly isn’t comfortable. In fact, it’s intense enough that I’m not sure how well children would tolerate it. That said, if you can handle the few seconds of the uncomfortable feeling, it’s SO worth it. I got one doozy of a bite on my back (maybe a spider, not sure) and zapped it with this thing that night. Itch went away almost immediately, and I haven’t even noticed the bite since. Pretty much the same experience with every bite I’ve tried it on so far. I haven’t tried it on a bee/wasp sting though, as I’m not keen on intentionally getting stung just to try this thing, so I’m not sure how well it works for those. Last quick note - BestBuy site says it has a lifetime warranty, but the manual says only 5 years. But even 5 years is way better than the 30-90 days most things come with these days. Bottom line, it actually works, at least for mosquitoes. I’m even going to pick up a second one to keep in the truck.

Don't do anything. Very dissatisfied arrived with batteries already corroded. Returning it asap.

This was a curious object. And I wish I had a better year to test it, but around here, we had some dry time this summer so mosquitoes are few and far between. But there are still a few around, and when I was swapping out my Jeep's soft top for a hard top to get ready for winter, there were a few in the garage. I managed to let myself get bit three times, so I could try this several times. Two were on an arm, one on a leg. It's as simple as it gets. One button to press. This looks like a simplified Alexa remote or something. Press the button and it will heat the plate for 3 seconds. Double click, it heats for twice as long. And it gets HOT. I tested this on my arm and inner forearm a few times when I got it, and was shocked at how hot it got and how INSTANTLY it heated up. Without a bit, I wouldn't do more than 3 seconds, it gets so hot on the sensitive inner forearm skin. It was easier on the outer arm skin. On the leg bite, this worked completely, instantly. As soon as I was bit I grabbed this and applied for six seconds just to give it the most power. And it hurt for the burn, but it never did the bite itch, didn't make the normal mosquito bite bump. Two times on the arm. Both on the outer side. Both times I did it again 6 seconds, so I could maximize the effects. The first time it made NO difference at all. Started itching and getting irritated. Tried it again, and AGAIN, and it just didn't do anything. That one still itches. The other one, it was, like on the leg, instantly effective, and I never got any itch, no irritation... So I'm not sure why the one had no difference if the two were so successful. But it clearly did something at least 2/3 of the time. It's so small, it's an obvious thing to add to your camping gear. If you like spending time on your patio or outdoors even if you're NOT a camper, this again is a handy thing to have. And for the price point, seems a no-brainer. Worth getting just in case.

Apparently, according to my mother, our family has mosquito attractant coursing through our family veins! Every time I am in a situation where mosquitos could be present, I inevitably end up with the most bites, which Is why I picked up this device. So I picked up this bite healer because if it worked, I knew I would use it....A LOT! Especially now that we've moved out to the "country" I'm finding this to be a very convenient device. I love how compact it is. I can take it with me pretty much anywhere I go. Whenever I am out working on my property I always have it with me in a pocket It's no larger than the keyring my car keys are on. You get 2 separate treatment settings to deal with insect bites or stings, one that is 3 seconds long and one that is 6 seconds line. It uses heat to break down the toxins and itch-inducing chemicals that are injected by various biting insects. While there is a short-term "burning" sensation, it doesn't leave a mark, any more so than the original sting or bite, and it relieves the pain and itching associated with getting bit.

The Beurer insect bite healer is a drug free topical treatment for insect bites. The manufacturer says it works best right after you are bitten, but I was not able to test that. I did however use it on a bite that I found on my leg that I didn’t notice until the next day, about 10 hours later. I was impressed on how it worked on that bite. There are two settings, 3 seconds, and 6 seconds and the 3 second mode is recommended for first use and for sensitive skin. The magic comes from a small ceramic disc that will heat up and I found it very painful at first, but once you use it a few times, you learn to expect the pain that it brings. No pain, no gain, right? There is only one button on the device and when you press it, it will determine the mode that it will go into. One press is the 3 second mode and two presses is the 6 second one. In addition, there is a ring around the button that will light up halfway for the 3 seconds and all the way for the full 6 second mode. I can see this device being a very handy tool if you go camping a lot or if you like to sit outside in your back yard. Keep it near you and if you get bitten, just use it right away and hopefully it will work great for you.
