My son-in-law purchased one of these last year. I tried it out, it worked so i had to get one. The only drawback is that the pad gets very hot, but that’s what kills the itch. I’ve already used mine several times and am glad i got it.

This actually works! It has two settings: a single click for 3 seconds, or if it's a bad bite double click for 6 seconds. It burns a bit and may not be suitable for children, but I've found it works great.

I have been doing a lot of yard work lately. Given the summer heat and sunny days, I do my yard work late in the evening. This attracts a ton of bugs on me. We have a lot of mosquitoes in general since we have a reservoir right behind our home. I tried bug spray but as my feet and hands get wet in the water, the bug spray gets washed away. I found this insect bite healer and I was very skeptical initially. To be honest the positive review made me try it out. Let me enunciate, it freaking works! I don't know how. Don't ask me but it works. You might, very likely, scream the very first time you will use it on yourself. It tries to burn the skin and inflammation on your skin. You will quickly get used to it though. My five-year-old kid got used to it and has no trouble in using it. Go with the 3-sec setting. Overall, you won't regret your purchase and no more relentlessly scratching your skin.

I was skeptical, but this thing really does seem to neutralize mosquito bites. I was worried that the heat would burn and leave a scar, but there is no evidence of that. I plan to continue using it, because mosquitos love to bite my skin, and my other remedy -- Campho Phenique -- leaves oil on the skin. My one suggestion: they should add a keychain or a slipcase to make it pocket-friendly.

This is a must buy!!! You won’t be sorry. This works perfect it really does get rid of the itch if you get a bite. I got sting from a yellow jacket and used this and it works right after i used in and no swelling after use. You never knew I just got stung.

Just got this and had a chance to try it within a day. It is pretty uncomfortable and was thinking there would be burnt skin when it was done. However, no burnt skin, and the itch was gone. Very cool, and worth dealing with 6 seconds of discomfort.

Im very skeptical about products like these. Went out on a limb and tried it out and i am DEFINITELY satisfied. It burns just a little so you have yo rub it a bit but it gets rid of the bites and most importantly, THE ITCHING! 10 out of 10 recommend!

I am allergic to bites, which swell a lot. If I use the Bite Healer right away, the bug bites disappear like magic. If you wait or aren’t able to use right away in order to kill the “poison” before it penetrates; than you may need to use the 6 second setting, or do more than once on the 3 second setting. For those sensitive to pain, you will definitely feel the burn, but its just a couple of seconds, well worth it for instant relief!

How? I have no idea, but i bought one to try. We camp and bot sets of grandparents live near wooded areas. Got a bite and was excited to try it out excluding the crazy need to itch the spot stung. Grabbed the healer put it over the bite and was shocked by the tingle of heat felt through the pad, I was not expecting that at all. The need to itch went down substantially immediately. It did not disappear but was greatly lessened. Within 5 minuts of application the need to itch is completely gone. I may buy a few of these to keep in cars and not just in the first aid kit. Incredible piece. Going to be interesting to use on the kids with the heat treatment portion.

This is an excellent product! You do feel it get very hot for a few seconds, which is a little uncomfortable, but that feeling disappears quickly. After, no more itching! Incredible!

Great price! Wonderful to have with me wherever I go this time of year! We have 2 larger zappers from a different manufacturer. This one takes up very little room in my purse. Delighted.

Excellent product! I was skeptical when I bought it but it really works. I wouldn’t not recommend it for a child since burns a little for a few seconds but totally worth the “pain”

had some doubt but it works. bug bites, you just cant resist the scratching. this stops the itch,that means quicker healing.No chemicals needed

I had a few doubts about it working, but I had to give it a go. I used to do the hot spoon trick, but that never lasted long. After feeling how hot this little baby got it must have been because my spoon was never hot enough! It puts out a good bit of heat that can cause you to flinch if you're not expecting it. I usually do the 6s session per bite and it takes care of the itch all night. Normally I'd be woken up by itches for a few days after cutting the grass. I use a weedeater on the poison ivy vines and they spray all over me. Luckily I'm not super sensitive to ivy so I have minor break outs. This unit even works on poison ivy rashes! The majority of what I've used it for are fire ant stings (it's the sting that gets you, they just bite to hold down) and poison ivy.

I was sceptical, but I became curious after reading positive reviews. My husband get easily mosquito bites and normally scratches through the next 4-5 nights. We have purchased lots of creams to ease the pain. This tool prevented any further scrathing with just one treatment within ten minutes after being bit. We highly reccommend this product.

I bought this due to flea infestation I suffered through because the stray cats that decided to live in my house's crawl space. It gets tiresome slathering on bug spray and Caladryl. I saw this device as a mess free alternative. I live in Florida and have to deal with mosquitos so I thought this little doohickey might be an investment to deal with the little buggers making a meal of me. I might be a little wimpy for I found the heating sensation a little more than mildly uncomfortable. However, the immediate relief is worth not scratching my skin off dealing with the bites.

Works as advertised. Helps reduce swelling of bites. Instructions indicates you must treat as soon as possible after the bite. Used on older bites and seemed to help reduce swelling and itching. Recommend.

As everyone stated - was originally a skeptic but this truly works. It may be a bit uncomfortable with it's heat, but it works well. Better than itch cream in my opinion.

Works even better when you use it as soon as you feel the itch. Does get a little hot but I try tapping at the skin and feel a big relief.
