The BPM consistently read 20-25 points higher than my actual blood pressure as manually measured by the nurse. She suggested never to accept the first reading; wait 15 minutes after the first reading before taking a second reading. The subsequent reading is usually more accurate, more aligned with the nurse's measurements. My previous BPM (Omron) was slightly more accurate but still read higher than the cardiologist measuring. Maybe they all use the same microprocessor? Unfortunately it's too late for me to return it so I'll measure as per the nurse's advice.

Compact and accurate monitor

Easy to read with large text Ability to keep up to 4 profiles of readings Bluetooth capable of syncing with the Beurer Health Coach App Fairly inexpensive Carrying case included Overall I was able to quickly get my blood pressure reading within 5 minutes of opening the box. What took me longer was setting up the cuff the proper way to accurately give me a reading. Definitely recommend reading the instructions and viewing the video provided by the QR code in the manual. I did use a fingertip pulse monitor to compare my pulse rate ratings and both were actually displaying the same number. Thanks to this device, based on the readings I got, a doctor visit was recommended. Beurer-Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor

This blood pressure makes a lot of noise, and the cuff is very long. It is run by batteries which are included with the Beurer- Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor.
