The Beurer Vibrating Massager Ball is very portable, approximately the size of a baseball. It has a hard rubber coat with nubs. There is a single power button at the top. One click for max power, the second click for lower power, and the third click turns it off. It uses 3 AAA batteries which can be accessed by turning the top and bottom in opposite directions. You can use this by rolling it along your muscles with your hands. However, the instruction booklet guides you to use the floor, wall or other hard surface to lean against while moving back and forth. I found that method to be far more effective. When I used my hands I really didn't feel much of the vibration. But when I leaned against a wall or sat in a chair and used the massage ball on my back it was extremely effective. In fact I had to turn it down to the lower speed. I have an expensive impact massager which is much more powerful than this, but I can't get to the knots in my back by my shoulder blades. This device however, gets right to that spot and it's effective. Of course you can also use it on arms, legs hips, etc. In summary, this is a great device at a great price. It serves it's intended purpose as a portable massager. Don't expect it to take the place of an impact massager in but it is a great addition to one.

Great message ball for the price. At first I was a little scared being as small as it was. But the bulges and rolling of the ball make it all worth it. I do wish it could have charged instead of AAA batteries but it's still definitely worth it. Easy to keep in pocket too. So it's actually with me at all times. Even use it at work when I want a quick and easy message. Well worth the price. Like I originally said, I only gave 4 stars because it requires 3 AAA batteries. Otherwise no faults at all.

The Beurer Vibrating Massage Ball (MG10) is an inexpensive option to treat you sore muscles. There are more expensive options out there but this is small, portable and effective. The small box contains the vibrating massage ball, batteries (3 AAA) and instructions. You twist the massage ball apart counterclockwise to install the batteries. The obvious green button is used to turn it on; adjust the speed; and, turn it off. It is recommended to have a hard surface between the area to be treated and the massage ball. The ball itself is pretty hard and has two different sized nodes. I found it to be effective for my hamstring (using the floor) and upper back (using a wall). It is not always easy to keep the ball exactly where you want it. I recommend this device and rate it 4 out of five stars. For the price and quality workmanship, you will not be disappointed.

This is a great little ball to keep with you on the go or nearby at an office work location for example. It takes a total of 3 AAA batteries and it operates simply with the push of a button. There are 2 settings for vibrating with a high and a low setting. The massage ball can provide relief even without being turned on. I like to use this on my neck and back especially. I will either place the massage ball between myself and the wall and try to hit some trigger points on sore shoulder or back muscles. I also like to place the vibrating massage ball on the ground so I can rest on top of it with my hamstrings or with my neck for some relief after sitting at a desk all day. The ball is compact and light, and is about the size of a tennis ball. It has a soft rubberized texture and some raised bumps on it to help provide relief for sore muscles and such. Great for athletes to pack with you to take to your sporting event. Also great for business travelers that want to take it on trips for aching muscles. Easy investment in your health. My favorite way to use it has been to get foot relief as I place it on the floor and roll my foot around on it. Enjoy.

I work hard at my job and often find myself coming home with back aches and other nagging pains. I’ve tried massage tools before with mixed results, the best ones tend to be large and bulky. I was excited to get to try the Beurer MG-10 massage ball due to the small size and two speeds plus the interesting texture surrounding the ball. The box included the ball, instructions, pretty standard basic packaging, and works by utilizing the floor, wall, etc. to press your muscle groups against the ball while it's vibrating. I tried with my lower back first, standing against the bedroom wall with the ball positioned first between my shoulder blades where it hurt. The ball is about the size of a baseball and the rubber “coating” on the outside is firm but soft when you hold it in your hand but I found it hard to apply enough pressure to vibrate the muscles without making it uncomfortable to lean into. I tried lower back next and again the angle to massage the muscles made it hard to get the right amount of pressure onto the ball. I decided to go “off the script” and tried just holding the ball and pressing it where I needed the massage, which made it easier to get the angle and pressure right but I never got that satisfied “massage” feel when I was done. It seemed like the small size mixed with the round shape and plentiful bumps/ridges just didn’t soothe the aches like I’d hoped or like I’d gotten from other similar products in the past. A lot of this could just be personal preference but I find that softer materials make it more comfortable to lean or press into the muscles whereas the MG-10 was just too hard and bumpy to get a comfortable pressure with. I will say that having a low speed and a high speed was a better feature than having a handful of speeds or vibrating patterns which end up being unnecessary, so points for simplicity! I’m mixed to negative on this one, but once more it could be preference. Having a simple single button on switch that goes high-low-off is easy and refreshing over fancy yet unnecessary multi-speeds like others. The small size makes it very transportable in a purse, gym bag, or just to set on your dresser or night stand but this could also be a negative as it really digs into you when you lay on it. I suggest if you have a chance to get your hands on the MG-10 to feel it out to see if you’d be comfortable leaning or laying on it, determine if the pattern of bumps is something you’d want to press into your muscles, and if the speed settings are adequate to meet your needs that’s probably the best way to know for sure. If you aren’t able to see one in person first I would suggest a pass on this product, I think there are too many variables that different people and different massage needs would depend on to be a good buy.

I was not expecting much since the price was good. Exceeded expectation but will not give you deep massage, takes a while to get some effects. Only negative was brand new batteries that came with product was completely dead.

I love this vibrating ball. I can use this to massage by sore muscles after a long day at work. I can also use this to help my tired and aching feet too put it on vibrate and roll it between your feet. I have been looking for something like this a long time and have tried many but this is the best

This vibrating ball is nice to have. The only issue that I have is the raised bumps, is kinda hurts went rolling.

The vibe is high enough that it soothes sore muscles. I let roll down my legs sometimes. I like it better if someone uses it to massage me than by myself. It hurts under the leg rolling it but it's the good hurt that feels better later. Battery lasts well depending on how long you use it.

Great soothing for aches. The ball is really sturdy the dimples are soft touch rubber. Vibration is pretty strong. Love to use it on the arch of my feet.

The muscles between my shoulder blades are always tight and sore. This vibrating ball feels great and relieves some of the soreness. I use the raised textured surface to press deeper. It even came with batteries so I didn't have to buy them. Love it!

Smaller than I thought, powerful vibration, didn't really work for the part of my back I was hoping to get to.

Bought this for son that likes to use wall and ball, and this one vibrates which is pretty good.

Works well. Wife uses it almost every day. I wish it had a timer on it. She often falls asleep whrn using it and the batteries wear out.

The button to turn the vibration pushes in when I’m using this and it turns off. Other than that it’s a great design for getting muscle knots out.
