Tom hanks is good in this movie needs to keep his feel

There are a lot of body change movies and episodes of TV, but few are as good as this film. The entire movie hinges on Hanks ability to convey a pre-teen with the body of a 30 year old, and he nailed it. Even his run was convincing. It's sweet and funny and heartfelt. The only part that's weird is when Josh sleeps with Elisabeth Perkins' character. If that's not weird enough, she finds out and isn't grossed out by it. That aside, Tom Hanks is a charm factory.

great film and really shows how time has passed by Tom Hanks is SOOOOOOOOO young in this flick its funny and all around great family movie to sit and watch anytime. I sometimes think we should all let that child inside us out even if its just for a few minutes. It good to remember what its like to have a good time or fun without worry or consequence,

I love this movie so much, I used to watch it on tv when I was a little kid every sunday. Classic Tom Hanks film, if you love Tom hanks purchase this film. It's one of his better films. My favorite part of the film is when he is playing the piano on his feet, I am so excited to know their is actually a store that you can do that at.

So this is a great movie about a kid who wants to be big and he gets his wish and i loved that this movie shows both sides of what could happen in a situation like this. It shows how the kid would be happy about his decision and the bad of his decision. Tom Hanks just did this role so perfectly i loved it so much!! There are a couple of kid roles and other roles that aren't the best and there are times where i just feel as if the movie gets a little cheesy. I should also say that the movie is PG and i think it should be more of a PG13 there are just a few parts where the kids need to shut their eyes but enough that this movie should be PG13

So much fun to watch this movie over and over again. Watching Tom Hanks' reaction to eating caviar is priceless. A fun movie with a simple concept that appeals to both young and old alike. I am sure this movie is responsible for selling tens of thousands of those floor pianos; we had one for our daughter.

Tom Hanks is outstanding in the pre-"big time Tom Hanks" era film. You see the world through the mind or a 12 year old and it takes you back. How would you like to see what life would be like if you fast forward 10-15 years? This film reminds us of the simpler days and does it with extraordinary humor - Bravo!

If you enjoyed this movie when it first came out or are looking for a good movie to enjoy as a family this movie is a must. Despite being over 30-years old it still holds up and is a top movie from the 80's that I enjoyed sharing with my kids.

This is a film that is fit for everyone. It's funny and heartwarming and it gives a great message for kids and even adults. Tom hanks is hilarious in this. It's possible some may find the film dated but it is better than having a probably impossible remake that wouldn't ever hold up to the charm of this one.

One of my favorite movies with Tom Hanks. The classic story never gets old and seeing it for the first time on blu-ray is fantastic. Playing chopsticks on the floor keyboard never looked so good.

This is a great movie. One of Tom Hanks' early greatest hits. It's a great yarn and well told. Good acting. Very, very funny and entertaining that way. And, dare I say it, "poignant." Yes, that's right. It honestly stands up to repeated airing. Well, okay, every year or so... now that I've seen it 15 times. Or more.

We've been picking bargain Blu-Rays waiting for 4K content and find that Best Buy has a great inventory, well organized and competitively priced. No movie collection is complete without Tom Hanks movies, and Big is a good one. Real bonus to get the Blu-ray AND regular DVD at a great markdown price.

A must-own if you're a Tom Hanks fan. It's a funny and heartwarming story that Tom Hanks pulls off beautifully. Great supportive roles by Elizebeth Perkins, John Heard, and Robert Loggia.

BIG is a classic that should be on everyone's shelf! A boy who can't wait to grow up, makes a wish to be "BIG". When the wish comes true and he wakes up a completely full-grown adult, he is forced to deal with the complications of being an adult. Maybe childhood wasn't so bad afterall, huh?

Who doesn't like Tom Hanks? If you don't just leave your citizenship card at the door as you leave. Mix in FAO Schwartz and a huge play ground, and it's the best of everything. Even the piano lessons that we all cringed about getting, but I bet you played the same song as they did.

Classic Tom Hanks film that is full of charm and good fun overall. If you haven’t seen it I’d highly recommend it. This particular release includes digital copy, no slipcover. More of a budget release it can be found for cheap.

I loved the movie BIG. Tom Hanks did a great job changing from a child to learning g how to be an adult. To be able to have a dream come true, even for a while, then go back to living life as it was, is a great lesson on how to handle one's way of life and to be careful what you wish for.
