Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu crafted his masterpiece. With help of the acting chops of Michael Keaton and the camera work of Emmanuel Lubezki, this film soared to heights that won it the Best Picture Academy Award.

Birdman is one of my favorite movies of 2014. I saw it in the theatre and bought the Blu-ray as well. Keaton should have gotten the Oscar for his performance, but I'm glad the film walked away with Best Picture.

Birdman is a unique film that would be enjoyed by movie buffs with high standards. But if you're looking for a mindless, entertaining film, this isn't it. It may be too deep and a little odd. But the production was great and the lack of cutaways made the movie more fluid and surprising. Very good acting. But, I could see how some people would find it boring or strange.

Well acted and interesting even if sometimes the music got annoying. I liked the movie yet felt it was kind of weird.

You have to expect the weirdness if it wins a tone of awards but it was pretty good and worth the watch, nonetheless.

This movie is unusual to say the least, but a really enjoyable ride through the mind of a tortured artist. Lots of "inside baseball" theatre stuff for those who have been in that world as well.

Michael Keaton is awesome in this movie. His character is eccentric, but he puts on an incredible performance.

I thought this was an original movie and I liked it. Interstellar was better and should have won the Oscar instead.
